Our room was large, with a sofa and coffee/frig. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom is down the hall, but private, as no other guests or family occupy that level. We couldn't use the outdoor seating area immediately outside our room due to rain. Gayle and Robin were very helpful in helping us decide our activities as a storm was approaching. Breakfast included fresh fruit, nice jams, toast, cereals, delicious yogurt, good coffee and cooked egg, if requested. Gayle suggested and made our dinner reservation, with which we were quite happy. Read moreIt really felt like a home away from home. The hospitality was second to none and we were very pleased with the facilities. Our room was very spacious, private, clean and comfortable. We had beautiful fresh fruit for breakfast with organic eggs and were also lucky enough to try Gayles baking, her 10pm slice was the best! Last but certainly not least, the garden area and beautiful outdoor wooden table was the perfect place for us to relax in at the end of the day. We were in the downstairs queen room, and it met our needs perfect. The room was huge - with a Queen sized bed and a sitting area and a small fridge, microwave, toaster, and hot water kettle.
