Bonnie Knights Motel — Hotel in South Island

We stayed so we could visit our youngest granddaughter when she was born. Our little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was welcomed too. He has his own enclosure and is accustomed to staying with us in motels. |||Check in: was easy, the host has a good sense of humour.|Bed: super king, extremely comfortable. |Spa bath: took ages to fill but was so good to use.|Fridge: excellent size, bigger than most so we were pleasantly surprised. |Cooking facilities: Microwave, toaster and electric jug, electric fry pan. Great variety of utensils and quality dinnerware.|Shower(over bath): amazing water pressure.||Recommendations (if I'm being really picky):|Bath or shower gel as well as soap would have been nice.|Towel rail could be bigger. Like I said, really picky; that's all I can think of! ||We will return next time we visit...

I really enjoyed my stay here, The room was surprisingly large, with a good sized comfy bed, with bedside tables on either side.....(something that seems to be lacking in a lot of NZ motels). The small but functional two hob cooker and micowave meant that you can prepare a reasonable evening meal.|The location of the hotel is just off the motorway, but hardly any road noise can be heard.|The shower was large, and had pleanty of hot water.|The only negative point I could make is that there's security/welcome lighing along the outside that's very bright, and there's some light bleed into the room at night. It didn't disturb me, but it did...

Had a great stay here. Nice room, very comfortable bed, excellent shower (although bathrooms floods a little but worth it for the nice shower pressure!). ||Owners are the friendliest people you'll meet and absolutely go out of their way to help!!||If staying in Mosgiel the location is great (everything is walking distance in Mosgiel). Only 10mins by car on the motorway to the centre of Dunedin.||Motel had laundry amenities (communal at a charge but reasonable) which was very helpful.||Parking outside the rooms.
