Kowhai Cottages — Hotel in South Island

We stayed with Jana and Sean for two nights and it was a great decision. The lodge is stunning and homely, Sean built the property himself and there is no doubt that the personal touch is noticeable. Excellent location for a trip to Mt Cook and walks around Twizel, the lodge itself is homely, cozy, clean and comfortable. Cosy, warm, and well appointed cottage accommodation with thoughtful touches throughout. A stargazing ceiling skylight above the master bed, heated bathroom floors, eco-friendly toiletries, and a well equipped kitchen are just a few of the things we loved about staying here.
