We stayed one night before our wedding, the room was not clean properly and the kettle has insects on it when we checked (i should have taken a photo of it). The room smells like an old cottage that hasn’t been cleaned.
On our wedding day, We used confetti and the owner asked our wedding celebrant and our guest to pick up those confettis because its artificial and made of plastic, we hired that place and paid lot of money, they should do that as an owner of that place not our guest!!! My guest doesn’t like how Michael speaks to them as well, he was rude and not helpful at all!!
They offered the inside dining area because it rained we did not hire any marquee because the weather was so good in the morning and it doest look like it rain soon but it did. They offered to the guest to stay inside, few hours after they were not happy at all and got angry and being so rude to everybody and they asked for an extra payment of using inside of the house as reception. It’s horrible to be treated like that on the day of your wedding.
There’s a lot to be disappointed of this place, the owners on how they treat our guest, dogs that just goes around while we are eating, the cottage thats not properly clean at all, they will just change the sheets and thats it.
The place has great view but recommend going to other place that will accommodate you in a nice way and...

But when it comes to the owners showing hospitality to their guests, its not worth coming back for. It was a wedding, it is expected that family and friends are present, so as their kids. The male owner seems he doesn’t like kids. He keeps on moaning about them and keeps on telling them off in a rude and unfriendly manner. The female owner did a nice gesture though by offering us to have our lunch inside their lovely home after the wedding ceremony for it was raining. But we didn’t even finish the entire wedding celebration for the male owner once again showed us how rude and inappropriate his actions were, when he just barged in the couples cottage and started bringing all their belongings outside for he said they were overstaying. He should have said it nicely rather than barging in there. We were forced to end the celebration and wishing to leave that place immediately for the married couple felt really bad about the owner’s treatment towards them and to us their guests. As customers, our stay there was memorable for we will never forget the experience we had with the hosts/owners (especially the male owner)...
Read moreI am so in love with Trelawn Place — it made our entire wedding perfect and truly wonderful. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, this venue has everything you could wish for.
Our intimate wedding perfectly captured the vintage vibe we were dreaming of. The beautiful overlooking view creates a peaceful and secluded atmosphere, yet it’s still close enough to the city center for convenience.
We stayed in the charming Cherry Tree House on site, which was just perfect for us. Everyone who attended fell in love with the venue! The owners were incredibly supportive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process.
I highly recommend Trelawn Place for anyone looking for a serene, beautiful, and intimate spot to celebrate their special day.
A big thank you to both of you Michael and Tracy! Our special day in your stunning place is a memory we’ll treasure for life.
