A really comfortable, clean, calm, and very well located place to stay. The property is really large and has a lot of cabins, lodges, powered sites, and u powered sites. The communal facilities are also in abundance and pretty large in size as well. The best part was that rules around the area are enforced and followed, which makes this place safer and cleaner. The staff here are really nice, friendly, and super helpful. The additional facilities here include a Hot Tub/Pool, Large playground for kids, fun bikes for rental, and a theatre room. Free shuttle to Queenstown downtown is a huge attraction plus. Below is the detailed review: Rooms: We stayed in a Ratta Lodge self contained unit. Was super cozy and comfortable. A soft and comfortable queen sized bed, a mini fridge, microwave, TV, cutlery, a dining table and chair for two people, as well as a single seater couch. Their porch also had two wooden chairs to relax. There is a heater in room, while the bed has an electric blanket. Everything worked fine and the stay was comfortable. Bathroom: The en-suite bathroom was super cramped, and the hand basin was very small and difficult to even wash hands without spilling water on the floor. However the bathroom is so small that a floor towel covers both the sink as well as the shower. The shower is small and pressure is very low. However, plenty of hot water. Parking: is available outside each unit, however, we checked in late and our neighbors both had super long vehicles so we needed to park elsewhere which was slightly inconvenient. Location: The location is really good as it only takes 9 minutes to drive down to the city center. There is a free shuttle to town that runs on a schedule 9 times to and from Queenstown which is very handy. Staff: Really nice people managing this lodge. Each and every person was friendly and helpful. They make your stay comfortable and easier as much as they can.

Very nice holiday park with plenty of powered sites for campers. Stunning views of mountains from all sides. A little far from Queenstown but they run a free shuttle nearly every hour from 9am until 7:30pm (7:45 last pickup from Queenstown). You get 1gb free WiFi per day and if you are a top10 member (well worth becoming a member as you get loads of perks and 15% off of the iter islander ferry with 10% off all on board purchases, that alone covers the cost of the membership and 10% off all top10 parks will save you heaps if you stay at a few of them like we have. I think so far we have saved about $100 in total since arriving in nz) then you get an extra 5gb too (only one though so if you staying more than 1 night and are looking to get a little extra then you could be cheeky and book separately for each day so you get 6gb per day but that would mean leaving the site and returning later) 😂 the showers are fantastic and the bathrooms are lovely and clean. The laundry is $4 for the washers and $4 for the dryers but you get an hour drying cycle so it should get things dry (unlike a lot of campsite drying machines)! There are 2 tvs in the kitchen/diner/chill out area with lots of sofas and a separate movie room. The kitchen is large enough with about 14 hobs, instant boiling water, toaster, 2 microwaves etc. There are 4 fridge freezers including one for free stuff left by other guests. I didn't use the hot tub but if I stay again I am sure to (quite pricey though at $15/half hour) the area around the site is beautiful with the shot over jet within a short walking distance. The staff are very friendly and will gladly help you out with any local information and tour/activity booking. I highly recommend this place!

I rated the location 5 because of the complimentary shuttle to town and going back to the park. Although there are bus stops nearby, a free shuttle is more convenient and predictable as long as you are informed about the schedules. They dropped me off and picked up from town even just me alone. The view in the place especially the mountain view was awesome. It's fantastic to wake up seeing the snowy mountains by the window. It was raining the morning I was there but still the vibe and cozyness was there. I was hesitant to book here because of poor wifi reviews of some. I sent them a message to ask before I booked and they confirmed that wifi is good. When i checked in, i couldn't connect even after i asked for help so I was disappointed coz i needed wifi for work and even mobile data was weak. Surprisingly when I arrived back from town, the wifi was working with no fail! Thank God! I felt safe staying there solo.
