Allure Suites Limited — Hotel in Lagos State

Unfortunately, my recent stay at this hotel was not a pleasant experience.

Starting from the fact that the price advertised on all online platforms was way different from the actual amount charged by a large extent. The advertised price ranged from 11k to 13k but I ended up paying 20k for the most basic hotel room I’ve ever seen.

The state of the bathroom, level of cleanliness and service provided, left a lot to be desired. Imagine used soaps of up to 5 previous users in the bathroom left uncleared, the drainage system was partly clogged, causing water to accumulate in the bathing area. This made it impossible to take a comfortable shower, as I was standing ankle- deep in water the entire time.

The level of service provided by the staff was equally disappointing. Despite numerous complaints about the AC not working well which would leave the room hot for a long while before it picks up again and it went on like that till I left, basically nothing was done to fix that. All my complaints were never properly addressed as staff appeared uninterested in resolving the issues and were unresponsive to my requests for assistance. I would have enjoyed greater service elsewhere for the same amount

I stayed for 4 nights Jan 2017 in a superior room. Firstly I must commend the staff. From the security guard to the ladies on reception, to the cleaners, all were courteous and willing to do what they could to make our stay ( we had booked 3 rooms) very comfortable. Any issues with the room ( bathroom needed some attention on our arrival and on one day there was interrupted water supply overnight) were dealt with speedily and efficiently. ||Security was excellent. Allure Suites is within a gated property, and being in a Close with gates at the entrance to the streets adds to the security.||We did not have any meals at the hotel so I cannot comment on the food.||There were a couple of issues regarding availability of wifi so I would advise that you check ahead to make sure there is wifi.||The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and we had electricity/airconditioning throughout provided by generator, as there were city-wide frequent power cuts. ||I would gladly stay here again but I would ascertain ahead that the there was available wifi as advertised on the Allure...

Staying here felt like a horror movie; It started out nice but ended up being a terrible experience.||The place is fine on the surface but when you settle in, you find out that the TV only has 3 channels which are all boring. Then the bathroom!
