The Cabin — Restaurant in Lagos State

This place was a pint size but gave off a really peaceful and serene vibe. It was not hard to locate for me as it’s just on the busy road, parking is limited so watch that and the signage isn’t really pronounced if you ain’t observant.

The stairs leading up was properly decorated and ushers you into a lovely space. There is an outdoor setting, maybe for smokers as there were posts saying “smoking not allowed” in the restaurant itself. The inside view has sections; a VIP lounge, an outer space, and then the space to the bar, while the DJ was situated in between,meanwhile the DJ was really, really, really good with the RnB & oldies jams on the day I visited. There were vintage car deco on the walls and a lot of writings which made sense to me. The price here was fair,truly and I need mention that the turkey tastes really good,too good actually. Wait time for food was 35mins but fortunately they made it shorter. We decided to be adventurous with the things, why not! We had Lady Margaret and Wood sex,which were N3500 each and they were nice. Expect your Lady Margaret to come in strawberry colour!!!!!

The food we chose were special fried rice with turkey and Shody’s special( this was it), each for N7000 and then water, the latter was good,tasty and had pepper,I was impressed truly, that meal was even more tasty to the special fried rice,it wasn’t it at all. While we ate, the jams coming from the DJs desk made it really worthwhile. Helpful and attentive staff, clean rest room(I think more than one should be provided for customers), it was embarrassing for everyone, even tho the interior of the rest room was decorated. Payment wasn’t swift as POS machine was faulty at the time,I think for a place like that, more should be provided as when there is a crowd, it might be an issue.

I hate that there's no parking, you'd have to find somewhere on the road to park and pray that it's not the side that can get towed or just go in the evening or take a cab or walk if you live close by.

It's a small space and they tried to make the most of it. There's an outdoor and indoor area. The decor is nice, very lofty lol like an actual cabin. The wallpaper is nice too with the surulere street names thing.

The food is not bad, it could be better. It's freshly made, so you'd have to wait for at least 30mins. The Singapore noodles with shrimps, veggies and chicken chunks was ok just had a problem with undercooked shrimps and the shell of the shrimp still attached to the bottom(isn't that supposed to be off? 🤷🏽‍♀️). The fried rice with curry sauce was dry my friend liked it though, but it was dry to me. The turkey was niceeeeee and juicy and big and sweet, oh and they serve large food portions so you are getting your money's worth.

Their drink options are not bad too ( maybe a bigger Margarita cup 🥺) and wow the beer prices on weekends I.e. from Friday 6 pm till Sunday 😂 I'll have 2 cocktails, please.

The toilet is good, small but good.

The music is great, the DJ just kept playing good songs back to back. Gave the whole thing a nice vibe.

The customer service is great. Even though one of the waitresses forgot my order for about 20mins, the rest of their service for the duration of my stay was great.

Overall it was a good, a nice place to hang with your friends but not a place for trying to...

I've always heard about the cabin, so I visited earlier this month and It wasn't a bad experience...

The AC was super cold, that I regretted my choice of clothing, lol.. I think they should try to reduce it cos everyone seemed to be shaking and running away from the chairs at the focus points of the AC..

We got the menu and it had many options to choose from.. So we ordered the mojito and strawberry milkshake and I must say their mixologist really knows what he is doing cos it was very good and delicious...

We went ahead to order food.. We had special fried rice and chicken, steamed rice and curry sauce, peppered goat meat, chicken and fries. They were all served in generous portions which is actually value for the money paid.. They all tasted good, apart from the fried rice that was a bit salty and goat meat that was lacking enough seasoning.. Both food and drinks preparation didn't take soo much time unlike other restaurants that take over an hour..
