Lofoten Hostel Ballstad — Hotel in Vestvågøy

Even though my stay was in mid-December, it’s still worth the review. The rooms were clean and spacious, and Filipe (the volunteer) is super friendly and made the hostel feel warm and homey. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I slept amazing under thick sheets on a cold winter night. All the common areas were spotless and well-organized, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. Great cabin with amenities like a kitchen and renovated bathroom. The host is very responsive and nice as well. There is a nice dock area where you can take beautiful pictures. Came here late September and managed to capture the northern lights outside! The location itself doesn’t have too much to do but it’s a nice middle between Reine and other fishing towns.
