Probably the best place to eat in all of Lofoten. All guests sit at the chef’s table (up to 15 guests), in the ‘garage’ of Roy Magne (a former member of the national culinary competiton team, and an amazing and eclectic chef, experimenting with the best Norwegian raw materials available and Asian/continental techniques/combinations. Add the down-to-earth atmosphere created by the chef, and the experience is just lovely.

Det kostar lite att besöka Lofoten food studio men med tanke på upplevelsen du får av den generösa Roy Magne Berglund är det värt varenda krona och lite till. Han serverar de rätter han själv tycker passar och köper råvarorna från närområdet. Sittningarna är vanligtvis 5-6 timmar och under de drygt 6 timmar vi var på plats fick vi ett 15-tal smårätter. Det var också generöst med dryck i dryckespaketet. Varje enskild maträtt var en egen upplevelse i smak, form, textur och inte minst uppläggning och servering som var ett riktigt fint skådespel. Jag och min fru rekommenderar detta och kommer själva att återkomma nästa gång vi är i Lofoten.

Das ganze Dinner dauerte 5h teilweise ist zwischen den Gängen 45 min vergangen was schon etwas lang ist wen kein Mensch am Table ist und man nur einen leeren Küchenblock anschauen kann. Essen Top, Erlebnis naja.

Incredible experience! The location was beautiful. Clean, modern look. A Viking-style wood-burning fire in a cauldron welcomes you in the backyard leading to the restaurant - setting my mood instantly. The super amicable Chef welcomes you upon arrival. Spectacular food, delicate, refine food... lots of it! Plenty of seafood and fish, with a tiny and subtle Japanese touch. But above all those incredible accolades, Chef Roy Magne Berlung is PASSIONNATE and PROUD and it shows. He is - rightly! - proud of his craft and proud to be cooking for his guests. A true artisan in the kitchen. I also brought my young daughter who does not love seafood (and yes one does expect lots of fish and seafood in a Lofoten restaurant!) and Chef Roy quickly cooked her various things to her liking! (he advised for next time to let him know in advance as he does go outside his menu to accommodate when possible!) Highly...

Chef Roy-Magne Berglund has carefully crafted a one in a kind experience here in Lofoten. Everything from the ambiance, his placement of customers around the table, to his finely tuned and we'll flowing menu. His art shows through his meticulously shaped creations which are a perfect balance of flavours. He is a one man show and plates everything in front of you. Was a pleasure seeing his creativity and craft at the forefront. The pairings complemented the meals very well and were served in glassware perfect for it. Absolutely disappointing! Don’t even bother coming to this place. We booked the tasting menu for 2 people 10 weeks in advance. We received a confirmation email letting us know that our places were reserved. We travelled all the way from the UK to celebrate my birthday and coming to this restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip, just to be told on arrival that they made a mistake with our booking. No apologies or options offered, just an unbothered chef (I assume he was Roy) worried about stirring whatever he was cooking. Unapologetic, and even annoyed that we were there. Not exactly what is expected from a highly rated “chef”...
