Ocean Properties Aparthotel & Villas — Hotel in Los Santos

This is a hostel or 1 star hotel at best . Avoid at all costs!! I rented via HomeAway and got a different rental, no hot water , shower drain clogged, very dirty, pool under maintenance and got fraudulent charges. All guests I heard complained - way over priced for something they cannot deliver on.

Facts: • Our stay was 6 nights in total. • first night drain was clogged completely and then after clogged was fixed pool of water in the shower still there because shower was not constructed with ample pitch(slant to the drain). • 2 days pool was under renovation (just the sides of pool painted, *the pool still not that nice even after "renovation" looks different than photo advertised). • no hot water for 2 days and after that hot water still not hot nor cold just mildly warm, which was better than scaulding hot or cold( there did not appear to be anything that worked well - my wife was so fed up we stopped complaining about it on day 3). • I complained to Luis everyday other than 1 day because my wife just told me " it's a hostel let it go" • electricity went out 3 times. • extremely dirty - I ended up moving the couch and you wouldn't believe the hair, dirt that I swept up. Towels had yellow stains on them and even after complaining still received some dirty towels. • Luis is a nice and professional smooth talker, so everything will " we will make it better or tomorrow it will be fixed", but it seemed like he wasn't equipped with much else ( I blame the property owners not Luis for not being equipped). • total per night with fraudelent charges was $180 avg per night. • I learned to not trust Luis or anyone else from this property and recommend whatever they say to take it with a grain of salt (sometimes a bit of truth but more than likely just...

This must be a dying place; we were the only guests for 3 nights.The reason might be that at the most, two couples could be at the pool at the same time - but we were alone there all the times. When arriving mid afternoon, nobody was at the reception desk. And only after some research we found a gardener who told us that the receptionist will arrive shortly. It turned out that Luis was representing the Hotel at a really high level. When he arrived at the hotel In the morning, we told him what we would like for breakfast and he went to purchase all goods in the village, about 25 Minutes away. Unfortunately the Internet regularly stopped working during the night and Luis needed to restart the W-lan after his arrival in the hotel around 8 a.m. One full day, the pool pumps didi not work and the quality of the water deteriorated rapidly. Fortunately there is a really good restaurant (Tierry) just nearby. They serve good quality fish and meat at a very high standard that you would not expect an such a lonely place.
