Hotel Posada Destiladeros feels more like a small village than just a hotel. The reception and restaurants are at the center, with wooden cabins scattered throughout the lush property. Our cabin was close to the beach and had a beautiful ocean view. Everything inside was made of wood, giving it a cozy, natural atmosphere.||The little patio outside had two chairs, perfect for evening meditation while gazing at the ocean. The beach directly in front of the hotel isn’t really swimmable, but you can walk to the left a little bit—or drive a short distance—when the tide is high to enjoy the water.||We visited during the low season and were almost the only guests, which added to the peaceful, secluded feeling. The beach here is beautiful and even during a holiday week was nearly deserted. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
