Posada Los Destiladeros — Hotel in Los Santos

Hotel Posada Destiladeros feels more like a small village than just a hotel. The reception and restaurants are at the center, with wooden cabins scattered throughout the lush property. Our cabin was close to the beach and had a beautiful ocean view. Everything inside was made of wood, giving it a cozy, natural atmosphere.||The little patio outside had two chairs, perfect for evening meditation while gazing at the ocean. The beach directly in front of the hotel isn’t really swimmable, but you can walk to the left a little bit—or drive a short distance—when the tide is high to enjoy the water.||We visited during the low season and were almost the only guests, which added to the peaceful, secluded feeling. My wife and I enjoyed wonderful 5 night stay here. It’s a simple, rustic boutique hotel, with 12 rooms in several different buildings and cottages. The beach here is beautiful and even during a holiday week was nearly deserted. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is amazing and everything we tried on the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious. A hidden gem on the Azuero Peninsula coast! My room, Vietnam, offered panoramic views. During the day, I walked on deserted sand beaches. I slept to the sound of the waves outside my windows. The hotel restaurant offered an international menu, including fresh fish and seafood. Complementary breakfast included fresh juice and fruit and a choice of entrées.
