I was looking for a business near this hotel. I could not find it so I went into this hotel to ask them where it was located. I was asked if I was customer of theirs and said no. I was escorted to a table and a guy brought me a water. When I asked about the place, I was told to rest and take it easy. It was obvious they were not going to help me so I went to walk out. They then demanded payment for the water. I told them I did not ask for the water, they gave it to me. I just went ahead and payed for it. I then looked at the guy and told him he liked playing games with people and I was going to report his actions. I went to the counter and asked for the mgr and now they cant speak English. But lobby, restaurant area has big open, well-lit spaces with many places to sit, relax, socialize, which you can also do at their large, outdoor pool area. Room was medium to smaller size, furnishings entirely utilitarian. Simple, though good-enough breakfast; restaurant has good-value lunch buffets. Desk staff was English conversant, though didn't see many obvious tourists. Presidente appears popular with groups; a boisterous youth futbal team was there during my stay. Preferred this one to the Chaco, even though rooms were smaller. Guest friendly....

The service is helpful and friendly but everything else - except the great central location - is left wanting.||Expect cockroaches and rooms longing for proper cleaning. The breakfast buffet is limited and nothing to look forward to.
