Hotel Los Gladiolos — Hotel in Cajamarca

The hostel is located right next to the street market and sellers are sitting on the side of the road with their merchandise. Several pharmacies are just right outside the hostel and is interesting to pass through the market itself but - is overcrowded. Main Plaza de Armas is in walking distance - it took us approximately 15 minutes (more due to the cars and people traffic than the distance). Our room was on the 4th floor - neat, clean and comfortable bed. Extra blankets were given by default as they know that in the night might be colder. There is access to the roof and we went there to see fireworks for the NY. Refreshing and comfortable...

Be aware, there are two streets with almost the same name. This hostel is at the one close to Plaza del Armas. Our mototaxi drove us to the wrong one first. The hostel itself is nice, clean rooms, cheap, warm showers, good WiFi. We didn't have any curtains at first, but got some as soon as we asked for them. The beds were quite hard. Combis go by just outside the hostel, on the same street, and it only takes 10 minutes to walk to the main plaza. Very close...

This is a quite good hostel, clean, kind staff, good internet connection, cable tv, hot water. Shared kitchen with a microwave oven available. There is no heating but blankets can be used. Prefer rooms in higher floors as streets around get busy. The location is quite convenient as it close to buses in the direction of Banos del...
