Hotel Briliá — Hotel in Chimbote

Chimbote is a typical rough port town so this safe haven was very welcome. Located in a secure gated residential community it is spotlessly clean and comfortable with big ceiling fans in the rooom to keep cool in the baking hot summer months. Breakfast was hearty and set us up for the long drive back to Lima and the staff were very helpful. There is a pretty garden, a bright, airy television lounge and there were lots of little touches that made this hotel more than just an ordinary pit-stop. We were able to use a locked garage to keep the car secure overnight and the Brilia really was a good find as there seemed to be a dearth of decent places to stay in this town. Highly...

We stayed 1 night at Hotel Brilia in a junior suite. The hotel was new, clean and comfortable with very friendly staff and hospitable owner. The hotel is located in a “gated community” so very secure and quiet. We ate dinner at the hotel which was decent and breakfast the next morning was average. The Wi-Fi was very good. Me hospede por una reunión familiar en este hotel, me dijeron por teléfono que me cobrarían 180.00 soles cuando llegamos a la recepción aparentemente todo estaba bien, nos llevaron a través de unos laberintos de pasadizos hacia las habitaciones. La primera tenía olor a humedad, la puerta del sh sin papel higiénico, sin toallas la cortina con manchas negras, salí y les ped el cambio a una que no tenga todos esos inconvenientes. Me pasaron a otra que tenía la cama más pequeña pero al menos no tenía olor a humedad. Dejo una foto de la mosca que había en mi habitación.||Bueno fui a bañarme y no salió el agua caliente hasta unos 15 minutos después, la limpieza de la ducha también dejaba mucho que desear porque se veía con sarro.
