This place is located right in the plaza de armas. Location is great. Quiet rooms, very comfy bed, with a heater and a bunch of blankets. Great for cold and rainy days. The people that work here weren't that friendly. Breakfast was terrible, pretty bad coffee and old hard bread. No fruit at all. They advertise that they have hot water, which is not true. They accept card, but they charge a percentage for paying with card. Do not recommend staying here.

Central location, right by the main plaza. The rooms are very clean and the showers have hot water, which tends to be hard to find... The people working there are very friendly and helpful. There is a basic complimentary breakfast that consists of juice, tea or coffee, eggs and bread. The local bread is really good.

Avis mitigé sur cet hôtel. Nous avons eu une chambre devant l’entrée et à coter des cuisines (numéro 103). Vous avez droit au bruit constant des personnes qui rentre et qui s’installe sur les canapés. Le petit déjeuner n’est pas copieux. Positif : l’emplacement au centre, chambre propre et spacieux Négatif : chambre non insonorisé, petit chauffage qui ne chauffe pas la pièce, bruit constant et la fenêtre de la chambre donnant sur l’entrée qui est constamment allumé !

Really great value in the middle of chivay. We stayed one night in this place during a 2 day Arequipa colca Puno tour (we booked accommodation ourselves which is cheaper than doing it as part of the tour package). We got a spacious and clean room with heating (the nights in chivay get cold) and a very comfortable bed. The hotel is on the Plaza de armas (there is not much to see but still nice to be so central) but our room was at the back of the building so no noise at all. Breakfast was basic: bread, ham, cheese, tea, coffee, fresh...

Service was friendly and quick. The bathroom is quite small and it takes a VERY LONG time for the water to heat up. The heater that's in the room doesn't work very well, but you can get an additional heater from the front desk. There are extra wool blankets in the room, so definitely use those. Bed wasn't super comfortable but not the worst either. Breakfast was basic but service was good. It's right by the Plaza, and there was a religious celebration happening while I was there so it was quite loud in the...
