This hotel is so charming, vintage and rustic at the same time. The people are co cordial, they had everything we need, from the coca mate in the room to directions to find places in Cuzco. It is quiet so you can rest at any time. The hotel is located on a walking street so transportation doesn’t pass by and that is a plus specially in Cusco where there is so much traffic. The plaza mayor is block and a half from the hotel. It is very centric to everything. Super affordable if you want a place to sleep. The beds are comfortable, water is hot for a good shower, and the de or is so cute. There are two restaurants in the hotel and they just open a pizza place there. Coffee place is open in the afternoon. I recommend it and I think we will comeback next time we are in Cusco.

A true gem in the heart of Cusco! My husband and I stayed here twice during our travels in Peru. The staff is helpful and kind, the location is unbeatable, and the rates are economical. I even had an incident where I fainted during a trek and had to come back to the hotel and no questions asked I was given a room to rest and the entire staff was attentive every moment to my needs. Ps. The best coffee shop inside their quarters, best tamale 🫔 stand around the corner, and kindest welcome by JUSTINO and JAIRO ♥️ they truly have a heart of gold. Stay here if you want a truly local, affordable, and authentic experience ✨ Ps. Give Justino a big hug for me :) I can still feel his beautiful gentle energy and kindness in his eyes! - lupita

Pros: -great location: main square, restaurants, shops, laundry service are all close by. It was a 7 minute walk to catch our bimodal transportation with Inca Rail. -great value -clean room -nice thick bed linen -nice hot shower -wonderful friendly staff Cons: -no shampoo but has shower gel and soap -pillowcases are too short, so short that it exposes the actual pillow (without any pillow protector). It would have been great if they double case it. Would definitely stay here again, the location can’t be beat.

Horrible service. No hot water for two hours, staff sleeping on the job with full blankets and pillows, no free water (can’t drink tap water) and charging 300% more than a grocery store. The rooms are nice on that front but very noisy at night. What got to me is the review they wrote after I went down to check about the hot water multiple times. Do not stay here, there are much better options as I heard about from fellow travelers on my adventures. As someone who travels full time for a living I have never once received any sort of negative comments from a place let alone a “lack of respect” all because I was constantly inquiring when the hot water...
