Stayed in a double room for a couple of nights. The room was spacious, very clean, the bed comfortable and with a window overlooking one of the side streets. The bathroom was en-suite, with warm water and just enough pressure to have a decent shower. The room also benefited from a ceiling fan, although this was not really sufficient to cool down the room. A tv was also available, but I didn't use it. Wi-fi worked well. Decor-wise, the room and even the hotel generally speaking, was sparse and even a little bland.|Breakfast was very simple, with scrambled egg, coffee, butter, jam and bread. Nothing to write home about.|Quality of sleep was ruined over the course of the 2 nights I was there but not necessarily due to the hotel's fault - the same parked car next to the hotel had its alarm going off several times each night, without it being shut down by the owner. This happened at various intervals during both nights at 2am, 3am, 4am and 5am. |The hotel organised a couple of tours (to sand dunes of Huacachina, and to Nazca for flights), with mixed results. For sand dunes, I asked to go around time of sunset and the tour finished an hour before that. The tour felt rushed, to the extent that we literally had 30 seconds, from inside the buggy, to take photos of the oasis from the top of the dunes - we were not given a choice to leave the buggy. We only slid down 2 dunes. The boards were quite old and battered. The Sand dunes operator was Pelican. For the Nazca flight, the experience was better, although in-flight headphones for the operator we used were not working, although the co-pilot was very clear in demonstrating through hand signals where the lines where. There were 6 of us in the plane. The flight operator was Aero Palcazu. |Service and staff at the Hotel were Ok, nothing special. They seemed eager to sort out the issues with the tours.|Although there is nothing substantially wrong with the hotel, the day rate was a little too much for what it offers and i would look to stay elsewhere, given the...
Read moreMy fiancé and I stayed here May 2014 and had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us directions to different things we needed, allowed us to leave our bags for a day since we had a 9pm bus to catch, and provided laundry service. Housekeeping was great, very clean every day. Cable TV and excellent wifi. Nice sized bathroom with hot water. Nice and quiet location and property. Diagonal to a tienda run by one of the nicest...
Read moreWe booked the hotel room very spontaneously at night after we couldnt find our hostel. We were actually surprised by the high standard of the hotel regarding the rather low price! The room was very clean with a big comfortable bed and good bathroom facilities. The breakfast was good and the service staff very friendly. We had a nice time with the young receptionist who tried to learn some German and who we will remember! Also a good place to stay away...
