Hotel Villa de Valverde — Hotel in Ica

The best thing about this hotel was the pool area, which is very nice. The room itself was extremely basic and not in great condition (broken/moldy drywall). There wasn't hot water in the shower. You need to take a taxi to get anywhere. Although the rides were short and cheap, this is not a great choice if you prefer to wander around a city at your leisure to get a meal.|I also got the impression that this hotel is aimed more at locals than at foreigners. The staff wanted to be helpful but there was limited English spoken at the front desk, which made it difficult to book Huacachina, pisco tasting, and Ballestas islands tours. The prices for these tours also seemed high compared to other agencies.|This choice is ok for the price if you speak some Spanish and just want to spend time by a pool and occasionally take cabs for activities, but not if you want a very comfortable room or flexibility...

ubicado en un destino turístico prometedor, parecía la elección perfecta para una estadía tranquila. Sin embargo, mi experiencia reciente estuvo lejos de ser satisfactoria y dejó mucho que desear.

Falta de limpieza y mantenimiento. Lo peor, el baño presentaba problemas de mantenimiento, con su inodoro, las excretas no pasaban….lo reporte y no hicieron nada….

Servicio al cliente deficiente El personal, aunque educado en su mayoría, parecía poco capacitado para resolver problemas básicos. En varias ocasiones, solicité ayuda para cuestiones simples, como un cambio de habitación, pero las respuestas fueron lentas y sin solución. Esto generó una sensación de frustración que afectó toda mi estadía.

Infraestructura en mal estado Las instalaciones del hotel mostraban claras señales de desgaste. Las áreas comunes, como la piscina y el gimnasio, carecían de mantenimiento adecuado, lo que hacía que los huéspedes no se sintieran cómodos utilizándolas. Además, la conexión Wi-Fi, anunciada como de alta velocidad, era intermitente y prácticamente inutilizable.

Relación calidad-precio inexistente Por el precio pagado, esperaba un nivel de calidad superior. Sin embargo, la experiencia en el hotel no justificó el costo. Sentí que el establecimiento prometía más de lo que realmente ofrecía, dejando una sensación de haber invertido en vano.

Conclusión El Hotel, necesita implementar mejoras significativas en limpieza, atención al cliente e infraestructura para estar a la altura de sus promesas y de las expectativas de sus huéspedes. Aunque el destino tiene un gran potencial, la experiencia se vio empañada por la falta de cuidado y profesionalismo. Espero que el hotel tome en cuenta este tipo de comentarios para mejorar en el futuro y ofrecer una experiencia acorde con sus precios...
