Hotel Blue Star — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

My fiancee and I stayed at this hotel with no major problems in April of 2008. The only things that didn't work for us was the rooms safe. The staff tried to fix the problem but was able to do so during our stay and the hotel's internet, it must be dial-up because it was really slow the one time that we wanted to use it. The room was cleaned every day and nothing came up missing.||The free breakfast was very good and good size portions and it was served with a smile. This hotel was built in 2005 and has already attained money pit status. A business class room is dank. The $5 upgrade to a suite is a no brainer for the extra bed and space, but the sauna gives off a stale, musty smell that fills the entire bathroom. This hotel is quite far from the airport, and the cab ride is far and filled with exhaust smell. I almost forgot about the stranger walking in our room in the middle of the night. Mala experiencia. No había caliente y no lo comunicaron al check in. En la tarde me duche con agua fría y no le di importancia, a las 11 pm antes de salir me duche con agua fría. Al reclamar se disculparon pero no dieron solución , por lo que les dije que iba a realizar una queja formal y la solución que me dieron es que me podía retirar sin pagar o sea a más de las 11 pm debía buscar un hotel por mi cuenta, me debieron reubicar a otro hotel como solución y me cobraron 75 USD. Al ingresar a la habitación me sorprendio que no tuviera Aire Acondicionado (AC), al preguntar me indicaron que las habitaciones con cama matrimonial no tenían AC y que había un ventilador en la comoda Luego al salir en la noche sin el auto no me ofrecieron el servicio de una compañia de taxi, por lo que opte por Al llamar a Taxi Satelital. En la mañana el desayuno estaba pésimo un huevo revuelto seco, y un mal cafe, encima la empleada que atendía encendió sin pedirselo el TV a todo volumen. Al check out no me dieron comprobante de pago, tampoco me preguntaron si necesitaba una factura o boleta, Yo tuvo que pedir una boleta, la Sunat debe fiscalizar este Hotel, que no cumple con sus obligaciones legales ni con sus clientes.
