I stayed for 4 nights at Nasca Travel One Hostel and my stay couldn't have been more pleasant. We ended up here because the hostel we had originally chosen had a problem with water and they recommended this place. ||The room was spacious with a super comfortable bed and sheets that were clean and smelled heavenly. There was ample storage space and even a table with chairs, as well as cable TV. The bathroom was clean and functional with an excellent hot shower.||The breakfast, which was included in the price, was excellent, with scrambled eggs, bread, jam, butter, tea, coffee and a fresh juice different each day. It was served in a very pleasant open air room on the top floor.||The staff, as much the older lady serving breakfast than the owners, were extremely friendly and helpful, giving good advice, even though I never bought any tours from them, which was refreshing as many hostel owners these days get unpleasant if you buy your tours elsewhere.||The hostel is located in a quiet neighbourhood (unlike the town centre which is very noisy), a few blocks and short walk from the town centre. Given that Nazca is fairly safe this wasn't an inconvenient at all and if you are really too lazy to walk, a taxi ride just costs S/3 soles.||I believe this hostel offers excellent...
Read moreBased on my experience, I would definitely recommend this place. We stayed here for just one night and we only needed a place to sleep. So for that purpose it was good. Breakfast is included. You can book trips to cahuachi (S 60), chaucilla (S 50 + S 8 entrance fee) and aquaductos (S 40+ S 10 entrance fee) cheaper at the counter instead of online (I only searched 4/5 websites), also it might probably have been the fact that the owner of the hotel is also the owner of the tours company. The room was pretty big with a private bathroom and the staff was helpful. The window view was to the entrance hall, that's the only con but we didn't really spent that much time in the hotel so we did not mind at all. Additional services: The reception ordered food for me because I asked the person if they could. In his best English and my best Spanish, we managed to decide to order some chicken, fries and salad (not sure what the place name was but damn it was tasty :), we shared They even let us shower at 4 pm when we came to get our bagage after trips and they even...
Read moreStayed here for a night. Some parts of the hostel look quite run down but the room was okay. Hot water was working well. Owner Hannibal was nice to pick us up and drop us off the next day. He works for AeroNasca, so you can book the Nazca lines flights through them since that’s probably the main reason why anyone would stop by this town. ||Only issue for us was that there was a power outage for about 2 hours in the morning which was quite troublesome for us to bathe before going out. Also, it’s quite far out from the city center - about 10 minutes by walking, and there isn’t much lighting along the streets at night. That being said, for 55 soles a night including a nice breakfast, it’s a...
