We had an amazing nights stay during our adventure coffee tour along the Inca trails. Enrique and his family were very warm and welcoming and took the time to show us their coffee farm and let us get hands-on in the process of creating a cup of coffee, from tree to cup. Enrique and Teófila are two wonderful people; together with their son and daughter-in-law they receive their visitors with so much love! Their passion to show the coffee process is contagious. I've come here several times since 2011 and it's still such an authentic experience. The beds are good, with luck you have a hot shower (but cold is enough!), food is great and of course Teofila's coffee creations are delicious. We stayed one night and just popped by without a reservation, which was no problem. It's a very private and quiet lodge with only 3 guest rooms. Sonia is a lovely host who looked after our every need. We also did a coffee tour with her and got to see the plantation and coffee roasting process - a must do while staying here.
