10/10 would recommend!! You MUST stay here for a night if you want a authentic Peruvian experience in Lucmabamba. This felt like a home very far away from our Australian home. The included 3 course dinner and breakfast were the best we have had on the Salkantay trek. Our host Karina was so friendly and welcoming. The views from our room were breathtaking taking. WiFi was the best we have had in South America. Only thing to note is the location on Google maps is slightly off (although we reported to change it to Google). It’s actually just before the “Camping Inka Andino” on the Salkantay path. Also not to mention- ridiculously cheap for...
Read moreWhat a gem! Tucked away in the lush coffee fields is this amazing place. The coffee is ridiculously good ( and I don’t even normally drink coffee🤷♀️) and the coffee liqueur is a must! What a treat to be able to learn about the coffee making process and taste our own roasted product! Walter is amazing in the kitchen- he cooks the most delicious Andean dishes, fresh, healthy and oh so tasty. Don’t pass this place by- spend the night and enjoy the warmth of this family and this beautiful spot. A highlight on my...

I would recommend it to everyone who does the Salkantay trek independently or in...
