Airport pickup prompt. Room was adequate, not elegant, but AC worked well, the TV and cable, too. Nice bathroom with shower. Breakfast was repetitive, but good. The pool was refreshing with a nice patio area. Our problems started with a return stay after going to the jungle--the room rate was raised-- we were given the excuse that the previous price was a special prior to Holy Week(we were there Tuesday and Wed. nights of Holy week). We finally agreed to pay the higher price-- 50% more-- not very happy! Then the cherry on top came when we had to pay the return airport transport-- 12 soles-- not a lot, but we did not leave with a good feeling about...

I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a great choice for a modest, no-frills experience. The room was clean and simple, offering all the essentials without any unnecessary extras. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a relief, and the breakfast was a nice touch – fresh local fruit, eggs, toast, fried plantains, fresh juice, and some of the best coffee I’ve had (way better than Starbucks!). The hotel was quiet, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The price was fair for the room and amenities offered. I didn’t have time to use the pool due to my busy schedule, but I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a comfortable, affordable...

José Antonio´s Inn, ubicado en una de las avenidas principales de Puerto Maldonado, lugar tranquilo, cerca al Obelisco, restaurantes en la misma avenida y minimarkets, facil de llegar al centro de la ciudad, mercados, aeropuerto por la gran afluencia de motocar, motos en línea que hacen servicio de taxis, aparte de los taxis que pueden ser solicitados en el propio hotel. Habitaciones cómodas con aire acondicionado, piscina y desayuno bufete; algo que debe mejorar es que debe tener mas variedad como son frutas y otros platos, se repite lo mismo todos los días, no hay almuerzo ni cena. Lo más resaltante es que si uno desea viajar a la frontera de Brasil y no llevar todo su equipaje, para realizar un viaje mas cómodo, puede dejar en guardiana y/o custodia el equipaje sin compromiso de al regreso hacer uso del hotel; esto puede ser por varios días sin ningún problema.
