HOTEL PERU AMAZONICO — Hotel in Tambopata

This was by far one of our favorite places to stay while in Peru. My partner and I loved how clean and comfortable the room was, as well as the friendly the staff!||Perú Amazonico is more like a bed and breakfast inn since it seems each room has their own private bathrooms and a breakfast is served every morning. Please note there's not much nearby; this place is located on a street full of automobile repair shops, so if you don't mind a 10-15 minute walk to Plaza de Armas and other restaurants, I highly recommend it! ||Because most people stay in eco lodges and don't see much of the actual city of Puerto Maldonado like we did, it didn't seem like the locals were used to having many tourists around. We were stared at and received strange looks all the time, but overall, it was a safe and lively city to walk...

I stayed here with my mother for two nights. We opted to stay in the city rather than visit one of the jungle lodges which required more time than we planned to spend. Our host Sr. Martin was wonderful, kind, so very helpful in every way. He even arranged a day tour for us so that we could experience time on the river as well as see other local sites with a guide. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the room was clean, the air conditioner was wonderful, the hot water worked well, and the included breakfast was simple and delicious. suchten nach einer enttäuschten übernachtung in einer herunter gekommenen, schmutzigen lodge eine neue bleibe. julio war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns das beste zimmer gegeben(107)|und brachte uns erstmal frühstück.|das hotel ist seeehr sauber und der service sehr freundlich.|unser zimmer war sehr großzügig, mit großem bett, aircondition,|frischen handtüchern(werden täglich gewechselt und das zimmer gesäubert) heißes fließendes wasser, große dusche, fernseher,|crosstrainer.föhn oder bügeleisen kann man sich am empfang ausleihen.|ein sauberer innenhof mit bestuhlung lädt ein zum entspannen und lesen. schlüssel bei verlassen immer vorne abgeben.|wer touren von hier aus startet kann das ohne probleme. julio vermittelt touren mit carlos expeditions,die wir auch mitgemacht haben.|es gibt 3 zur auswahl. schaut ob ihr sonia als tourguide bekommt. sehr herzlich und etwas deutsch kann sie auch;) hatten spaß. |wer klein starten will kann auch auf die butterfly farm. ist nicht groß aber wir waren erstaunt über die vielfalt und größe danach die kleine snackbar lohnte sich als break.|weit ist es auch nicht mit motocab.|frühstück gibt es von 7.30-9.00|kein buffet. es |besteht aus kaffee, frischen saft,|2 brötchen( gott sei dank ohne zucker und knusprig) wurst, käse, marmelade und man darf sich spiegelei, rührei oder 2 hartgekochte eier dazubestellen.|wir waren sehr zufrieden und über den preis noch mehr.|puerto maldonado ist nicht sehr groß, eine nette bleibe zu finden nicht ganz so einfach.|die hier können wir euch nur empfehlen.|als restaurant tip :das burgos!!!|lecker!! taxi bis...
