Hotel Sol Y Luna — Hotel in Trujillo

We stayed at the sol y Luna hotel as part of an adventures by Disney tour. Our Casita was large and beautiful. Every night we has hot water bottles in our beds to keep us warm. The grounds of the hotel were stunning and immaculately cared for. We took a horseback riding tour and the guides provided by the hotel were exceptional. It's a short drive to train station and then about and hour on the train to the Machu Picchu town. Then up the hill to the site. Also visited on an Adventure by Disney trip. Staff is wonderful and the cassitas are very spacious. Only possible issue is the shower is a bit tricky if your older (steps to walk in). Pool is really nice with lounging area and couches. July is winter in Peru so...
