I had the most incredible stay at Casa De La Chola near Ollantaytambo! The property itself is breathtaking, with stunning mountain views and cozy living areas framed by huge glass windows that let you soak in the scenery. The rooms are spotless and full of charm, decorated with delightful Peruvian-themed touches that make them feel both comfortable and unique.

A highlight of our stay was the resident black cat, who stole our hearts! This sweet kitty would join us in the living room for cozy cuddles each night and be there to greet us in the morning right outside our door. We miss him so much already!

The hospitality was beyond our expectations. Tony, the owner, is a phenomenal chef who prepared delicious breakfasts for us each morning—perfectly cooked eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh-squeezed juice, and rich Peruvian coffee. We also loved the Sunday pizza night, where Tony made each pizza from scratch and baked it in his impressive brick oven; they were some of the best pizzas we've ever had! One evening, we wanted something lighter, and Tony made us a warm, hearty chicken soup that was absolutely delicious.

The location was also ideal. It’s only about a 15-minute drive to Ollantaytambo town, and Tony was happy to help us arrange a taxi when we needed one, especially for our early-morning trip to the train station to Machu Picchu. He even packed us a breakfast to go, which was such a thoughtful touch.

The peaceful, tranquil atmosphere at Casa De La Chola made it the perfect retreat after exploring. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and beautiful stay near...

This bed & breakfast is spectacular. Not only is the location just perfect, but the host, Tony, was very kind and helpful! Tony speaks little to no English, however, communicating with him was not a challenge at all. This place has 4 rooms and ours was simply perfect; very clean, very well decorated, and a cozy ambiance. The rooms are connected to a sitting area with a TV, couches, complimentary teas, coffee, and snacks. The property itself is located in the Sacred Valley with breathtaking views all around us and has a restaurant which serves a complimentary breakfast which exceeded our expectations. Tony was kind enough to pack us "to-go" breakfast/lunch bags for our long day in Machu Picchu. He also offered to drive us to the station 2x and for a very nominal cost. Tony has a brick oven pizza outside of the restaurant area where he will bake an array of pizzas and can create your own style. It was simply amazing. Tony has a few dogs who will roam the property, but are super friendly. The B&B is in a great location and it did not take us too long to get to Ollantaytambo station where we caught the Peru Rail. Highly recommend staying here -- you will feel as if you are camping out in the most serene valley in a 5 star tent. Thanks Tony for your...

This unique property is a guest house with 4 private rooms and large shared spaces. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The location (directly under the Sky lodge) is in an ideal location outside of Ollantaytambo and Urubamba, great for a home base to explore the Sacred Valley or head to Machu Picchu.||The rooms are comfortable and cozy. ||The shower was awesome!||We enjoyed sitting out on the large enclosed patio room in the evenings. There is also an extra bathroom out there - handy for 3 girls sharing 1 bathroom. ||Wifi worked well.||The owner has a friendly dog and cat that will greet you at the gate each day.||Tony is an amazing host (does not speak a lot of English) but will get you everything you need. He was trained as a chef and would prepare us amazing meals when we returned after a day of touring the valley. Breakfast was huge and ready on time everyday.||I can't recommend a place more than this - we loved our 5 night stay at Casa...

We stayed at Casa de La Chola for three nights and we were sad when we had to leave. The room we stayed was beautifully laid out; the entrance was lower than the bedroom which is a few steps above. We could sit and read while looking out at the beautiful rocks across the valley. The mattress was so comfortable and massive. The hand washing station was separate from the bathroom which I really liked. The stylish furniture and the fresh linens made me feel like I’m in a 5-star hotel. The breakfast was phenomenal! My favourite thing was freshly made orange juice and passion fruit juice, depending on what was given on that day. The dinner is various (depending on the night): Tony’s famous Wood-fired pizza or the choice of chef’s menu such as chicken soup, grilled chicken, lomo saltado. Tony is such a talented chef and host. We’ll definitely be back to Casa de La Chola!

I loved my stay here and wish I could stay longer to try Tony's pizza night. You can tell there's a special attention to detail here that makes a big difference during one's stay. For example the room's decor is very cute. I love the small handmade bowls used for the delicious breakfast. There's a big backyard with lawn chairs and a hammock. It was very relaxing to be in Casa de la Chola after a long day of visiting Machu Picchu. I returned to Casa de la Chola at 1am one night due to Peru Rail's malfunction. So when Tony cooked a delicious grilled chicken meal for me at 1am... I was very grateful.

Absolutely wonderful place! So sad I was only able to stay 2 nights. Tony was a wonderful host and chef, we went to visit Machu Picchu and Tony was happy to arrange us a taxi ride into Ollantaytambo, the highlight was that after a long day of travel to Machu Picchu we had the most amazing pizza cooked by Tony (highly recommend the pizza Chola). The scenery here is also fantastic making for a relaxing time soaking up some of the most amazing views I’ve ever seen, the resident cat was very friendly and gave a great welcome to the room! 100% would return here on my next visit to Peru!
