Hotel Dream World Las Pinas — Hotel in 2nd District

I booked on Oct.11 to 31, 2022 (21days). My flight is delayed so I checked in on Oct. 12, I expected the room is ready since my partner in the Philippines call them to confirm that we gonna checked in on Oct. 11 but when we reached the hotel the room is not ready yet. They kept us for a while because they start to clean but when we enter the room. They just changed the bedding’s but the washroom is so filthy, dusty all over the room, it looks like no one occupy for a while. Since i was very tired from the delayed flight, I went to bed to rest. Time passed by, i saw a cockroach crawling on the wall so i checked down the wall. I moved the bed and i saw a bag full of McDonald French fries on the floor between the bed and wall. I call the receptionist and she sent one of their room boy to clean, even him he said that the room was so dirty and he asked an apologized. He dusted the side boards and swiped the floor. I cleaned the washroom before he came. Internet is bad, it keeps you logging out. They should prepare the room before the guest arrive at the site. I lost one day of my stay because they said whenever the date I booked it start from there and yet they don’t even bother to clean the room since i was delayed. When you ask for towels you need to remind them 3x before they sent it to you. I asked them for room service they kept saying yes but no one go to clean. One time I’m kinda sound mad i said I need room service ang i want them to make it sure when I come back to the hotel it’s already clean since I asked them many times. That’s the time they clean. In 21 days of staying there only 1time they clean the room I occupied. I was so disappointed but i can’t cancel my booking it’s un refundable. So I have no choice but to stay and finished my 21 days in that terrible hotel.

STINKY BATHROOM

We arrived around 3 PM, expecting that our room would be ready. However, the staff seemed unsure if the room we booked was even available. We booked their Mega Suite & Executive Suite hoping for a better amenities and service but I don’t think it’s better lol. We booked this hotel to avoid the hassle of traveling back and forth, as we had an event nearby and were also traveling with two kids. Unfortunately, we found the room setup to be unsuitable for children due to the “stuff” in the room. The listing on Agoda mentioned “2 single beds and 1 queen bed,” but upon arrival, we were informed that this was incorrect, and the supervisor blamed Agoda for the misinformation.

I raised the issue that I hadn’t been able to get timely replies via their contact number, email, or social media, but the supervisor did not seem to take this seriously and blamed it to Agoda (again) as he’s not listening to my inquiry.

They asked for an ID but later couldn’t find it, telling us, “Sir, we can’t locate it,” which was incredibly frustrating. Proper care of guest IDs should be a basic responsibility. The room itself was a disaster. The bathroom smelled like urine, and the room reeked of chemicals. I understand this is a budget hotel, but I strongly recommend choosing Eurotel instead—it’s almost the same price but with far better service, staff, and cleanliness. We had also booked with breakfast included, but had to follow up by 11am before it was delivered. The hotel is almost impossible to reach on social media, email, or text.

They also turned off their wifi at night until we checked out there’s no more wifi. The room doesn’t have any keys but they said it’s very safe and don’t leave any valuable things 😂 How is that?

This place has one thing going for it. Definitely inexpensive. It does most of its business in renting by the hour and is not great for those looking at staying long term.||||The Bad:||||They dont give out keys and no card lock systems. The doors lock from the inside but the only way to secure your room when you leave is to ask a staff member to lock it and open it again upon your return. There are alot of staff around and they do seem to be aware of who belongs where. ||||No hot water. They say "warm water only". Warm is being generous. Maybe 80F°/27C° at best. Shower head had major leak, reported, no effort to fix so it sprayed water everywhere. No extra towels to serve as a bath mat making exiting the high sided tub a dicey process. ||||Phone in room stopped working. Notified staff. Was still dead 4 days later.||||Wifi seems to reset/disconnect every couple hours forcing you to log back in regularly.||||Housekeeping only if you ask. No real attempt otherwise. ||||||The good:||||Inexpensive||||Clean ||||Staff generally very polite and helpful. ||||Room service food was far better than expected||||Tub large enough for two, as long as you don't mind your body heat being the primary source of heat.||||||So if you need a place for a little fling, probably fine. Looking for amenities and security... Stay...
