Disappointed with Cleanliness and Service||I booked two rooms (9004 and 9005) at Red Planet Clark Hotel in Angeles City for a stay starting on March 27th, one for my husband and me and the other for our 19-year-old. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing due to cleanliness issues.||Upon arrival, we noticed that the bathroom was not clean—tiles had accumulated dirt, water grime, and clear signs of neglect. It was evident that the bathrooms had not been properly cleaned for some time. At first, I thought this was an isolated incident, but when a friend/colleague checked into the hotel while we were still staying, two out of their four rooms had the same issue. This was extremely embarrassing as I had recommended this hotel to them.||I don’t expect luxury, but basic hygiene should be a given in any hotel. On top of that, both the shower and sink drains in our room were clogged. When we raised our concerns with the front desk, we only received an apology—no real effort to rectify the situation.||Wanting to leave, I requested a refund for the remainder of our booking, but the hotel refused, stating that the payment was non-refundable until April 8, 2025. Instead, they offered to move us to other rooms (1002 and 1003), but upon inspection, those rooms were also unacceptable. The TV in the new room was in terrible condition with distracting lines across the screen, making it nearly impossible to watch. Worst of all, the cleanliness issue persisted—the bathroom tiles were just as dirty.||Rather than offering a proper solution, it felt like the hotel was just shifting the problem from one room to another. This experience was frustrating, and I cannot recommend this hotel to others. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and Red Planet Clark fell far below...

Read moreIt was a good quarantine hotel. At least there was a window to see the color of the outside, some quarantine hotels do not have this option. Housekeeping occasionally visit the room to ask for change of towels, some hotels just leave you to rot with your super used towels. Maybe from the distance of my room (the furthest one from the center or from the wifi extender) the internet unfortunately cannot reach and i will have to use my own pocketwifi or phone tether. But it was not a big deal. They can fix it only if I asked. TV is enough for me or something to read; well im maybe just used to be quarantined for so many times. It was clean also, save for stains in toilet bowl but can be removed with muriatic. Maybe this was only in my room. Not really important. I was negative of the virus before the day I check out so the room was of course that clean to this level. The food is very delicious as served by the restaurant just beside the entrance of the hotel. Maybe few additions in the menu; got ala carte cause I only eat twice or once a day (and i saved few bucks with the food I liked). What made me to give 5 stars for this hotel and my stay are the staff serving you. It is understood that it was uneasy to stay careful in this hard times and follow the strict policies created by this pandemic but they'll serve you equally (trying their best) as the way they would be without this pandemic. It would be interesting to experience another stay here after the pandemic. I think it would be even nicer. My only issue hmm (haha sorry this is very minor!), attendants knock at the door very hard that I jolt 😀 (but dont mind this, it is okay i think to...
