Very hospitable people & we had a nice stay. Our room overlooked the river, and it had a small outdoor patio. Our room had three beds, so it could accommodate up to 6 people. The bathroom setup is different because the showerhead is above the toilet area. Bring your own toilet paper. The kitchen is open at 6am. We ordered the tomato 🍅 onion 🧅 omelet 🍳 and it was tasty. Ther service was really good 👍. It's open until 8pm, and the dinner was good too. Prices are really reasonable at about 200 pesos per entree. The location is good, but may be hard to get to, since you'll have to walk down steep steps. We walked to the pedestrian Bridge to get to the downtown market area. Ordered fresh pan de sal at Granary Bakery for only 3 pesos/each.

We arrived very early from the coda lines overnight bus from Manila so it was great we had a free pickup and could have a nap in another room before ours was ready. The place is a basic accommodation. Our deluxe double room was spacious and fine, though needed better pillows and a better shower. Nice views, friendly staff. Breakfast (paid) wasn't great and we ate from Bogah homestay which is attached to it for dinner as veggie options were better. We had no power for the night and morning we were there but Bogah still had it oddly. We did the tour of Batad with them which was great. It did seem a bit expensive (though we didn't have anything to compare it to to be honest) but guide was very nice.

I’m gonna start by saying that it is a generous 4 stars because we had a very tiny room, hopefully we did not stayed long! The view is indeed beautiful and the staff is lovely nothing to say. Cooking time can be up to 1h30 before getting food and sometimes they even left your food, a bit more professionalism would be perfect. Moreover, I highly recommend you NOT to book the tour with the guide coming to the Homestay, they will rip you off, we figured out that booking straight with the guide would have made a savings of 800 PHP. Just as an advise, as some peeps will come around trying to sell tours and rides to other location...

Rice Homestay was our home for 4 days & 3 nights whilst we explored the Banaue area with our two young children aged 4yrs & 6yrs. We booked a family room which was very spacious (2x single beds & 1x double bed) & had a small balcony with lovely views of the river below, a small rice terrace & looked over to Banaue village. Food was not bad & choices were good. There is also a kitchen at Bogah homestay which adjoins Rice homestay which we ate from a couple of times as well - Hint: Beers are slightly cheaper at Rice Homestay. Banaue village is a short 10-15min walk from the homestay, down the road & across a hanging bridge over the river & then up a steep flight of stairs up the hill into the village. We did the walk quite a few times with a 4yr old & 6yr old in tow, it wasnt a hard walk. Homestay offers free transport to & from the bus stop too which was very handy with luggage. The families who own both bogah & rice homestay are extremely friendly people & we felt very welcome. There were also other local kids there from time to time, whom our girls loved getting to know & playing with. ||||We organised a 1 day tour through the accomodation to visit Batad. The guide we had was absolutely fantastic. A local lady named Fena. She was really fabulous with the kids and was always ready with a helping hand as we descended & ascended the mountain to & from the village, and balanced along narrow terrace walls, offering lots of encouragement to the kids as we went along - the trek was was a big feat for a 4yr & 6yr old! She was also very knowledgeable of the local areas. We really enjoyed our...

It's a simple but very nice place to stay. Being away a bit from the center of town doesn't matter at all as there's not very much to do and see in town. You came here for rice terraces, hot springs, trekking, didn't you.||From the main road you have to step down some steep stairs to reach the premises. ||Rooms are basic with attached bathroom, though offering everything you need.||The view from the veranda is just gorgeous. Both while having breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening.||They have a small menu and the food they provide was quite tasty.||Staff was very nice and helpful. Especially Elsa seemed to manage everything, including the kitchen. ||I did both the tour of Batad and Hapao with them. First it seemed a bit pricey but actually it's the same what you pay elsewhere as well. Got picked up after breakfast, guides they had put me in touch with were great, and was dropped at the homestay in the afternoon. Perfect.||Would definitely recommend the place for sleeping, eating, tours and view.||Thanks for your...

Good Homestay, but the best part was the tour they arranged. We did a 3 day hike through Banaue-Pula-Campulo-Batad with Armel, our tour guide. ||The tour was MAGNIFICENT but quite tough. We loved walking the rice terraces, but there were A LOT of stairs. Beautiful scenery though, well worth it! ||The only note: day 1 contained a dangerous bit where we had to climb over a landslide. It was very slippery and one small mis step could lead to a fatal fall. It might be worth adding some extra support to this exact spot… ||Armel took excellent care of our safety and well-being. He guided us through these and other challenging moments and we felt very safe.||He also offered a fantastic tour experience. He explained a lot about the rice fields we came across. We fully recommend booking a night and a tour through this Homestay, and ask for Armel!!!||Best,...
