In every travel there is really 3 essential things that satisfies your needs: 1st is the PLACE-literally, the reason why you travel is to discover new places but not just places but BEAUTIFUL, RELAXING AND UNIQUE places, consequently this marks a large check mark for Ogtong Cave Beach Club Resort. You could also experience renting a bicycle and stroll the island and the prices in the place are sooo cheap 👌👌👌 (considering that I'm a local traveller and I don't earn dollars). 2nd, the FOOD. Gosh; day or night, you could order very delicious seafood cuisine in this place! such a lovely island 😍 also there are open recreational areas at night where you can go ahead and unwind after a long day of dipping unto the salt water seas of bantayan island. and lastly, the ACCOMMODATION. Even though I have an adventurous spirit and I am a cowboy type of girl, I still don't consider being in a resort room that smells with cockroaches and is very dusty. Thus, in this place, you could sleep at night with no worries of creepy small monsters that might crawl under your blankets. Furthermore, All in all, the mix of those 3 essential travel needs for me had been met by this place and I highly recommend it to whoever is reading this. I would surely go back in that island and stay in the same resort and enjoy the leisure of life with the magnificent ambiance at an...

During my recent escape to Bantayan Island, I had the pleasure of staying at Ogtong Cave Resort, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Nestled in lush greenery, the resort felt like a secluded paradise. The highlight, without a doubt, was the enchanting cave. Stepping into the cool, crystal-clear waters was an experience unlike any other—almost mystical.||The rooms, though simple, were cozy and equipped with all the essentials. After a day of exploring, sinking into a comfortable bed with the gentle sounds of nature outside was pure bliss. The on-site restaurant served a delightful array of local and international dishes. I found myself looking forward to every meal, especially the fresh seafood!||One of my favorite spots was the pool area, perfect for a refreshing dip under the sun. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready with a smile and helpful advice on the best spots to visit on the island. The resort also offered free parking and bicycle rentals, making it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings.||Ogtong Cave Resort is a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, making it an ideal getaway for anyone looking to unwind and soak in the natural beauty of...

It was an overnight stay in June 2019. We got the Family Room worth P4500 good for 5 people. I love how spacious the bedroom was and that there are two shower room, makes taking a bath very convenient. Cable TV works. The bed and pillows are comfortable. They gave free toiletries and free use of towels. Staff are courteous and accommodating. Easy reservation and very helpful with queries. The resort is wide and there's plenty of room to roam around and nice background for picture taking. They say the cave is very small but I think it's just fine. You can't do laps but there is still room to swim if there aren't so many people. They have two swimming pools (one for public use and another exclusive for checked-in guests). Lots of colorful trees. Plus they provided clothesline perfect for drying clothes (good use for backpackers).

What I didn't like about the resort is the aircon in our room is quite old and dated that it wasn't able to completely cool the room but they provided 2 electric fans so that solved the problem. Another is the beach. I don't like that there are "lumot" in the beach. But apart from that, this resort is so worth checking out. We enjoyed the cave and had a very good...

I would give the place a 3 out of 5 because its not entirely value for money. We stayed 4 days /3 nights and paid around nearly 8k . For this amount, you would expect that the rooms have a great bed and wifi is present in the rooms but no. There is only WiFi in the lobby and the bed and pillows aren't the most comfortable. My partner and i work and need to check emails occasionally so this was a huge downside. And we didn't sleep too well because the bed and pillows werent very comfortable. The pool for the ones who are booked there is nice , but the public pool is quite old. The beach is nice when it is high tide and is definitely swimmable contrary to what others say here. We swam until the cliffside beach area. And it is a nice, clear and clean beach. Breakfast and coffee in the restaurant is good. I hope with the money coming in from the Cave publicity that they use it to have better amenities and wifi everywhere!!!. The Cave is very nice and pretty straightforward. It gets pretty full during daytime but it's quiet in the evening thankfully. Getting around is easy whether trike or your own scooter.

Stay away from this place if you have kids!! Almost everything here is 'BAWAL'. Kids not allowed in the cave, even if supervised. 🤦🏻 So my wife & I had to take turns going in the cave as one of us had to look after our daughter. Kids are also not allowed in the main pools even if strictly supervised. (5-ft max depth) Kids can only stay in the 'kiddie' pool which is about knee-high deep, has murky water & rough bottom (non-smoothened cement). I hate to be blunt, but the kiddie pool looks like a pool for swine/pigs. 😖 It's also BAWAL to sit on the edge of the pool (?) I mean what's the harm in that?? There are no signages about this weird rule, so I've seen a lot of guests getting yelled at by staff for doing so. I am not blaming the staff for implementing the rules as they are just doing what they're told. But I hope the owner/management should re-consider all these BAWALs. Also, they were charging 400php per person during the Holy Week!! Wow. I've stayed in one of their rooms few years ago & that's the only positive thing I can say about this place. Room was neat & surrounding ambiance was relaxing.
