My Dream Place hotel — Hotel in Butuan

Don’t ever stay in this hotel, this is not a dream place but a nightmare place with the most rude, arrogant and unprofessional manager who shouldn’t be in the hospitality industry. I asked to talk to him/her but he/she never showed his/her monstrous face. The manager alleged that I cancelled our 3rd day accommodation. Why in my right mind would cancel my accommodation when I still have a meeting on that day and the next day. The manager never faced me instead he instructed his/her staff for us to vacate the room since it is already reserved for another guest. The staff suffered the brunt of my anger and frustration although I pitied them since it is not their fault. The hotel has no security guard and lacked staff since I asked them to change the bedsheets and the flickering light which is an eyesore and gives us the creeps but they were never changed. They have no genset since during brownout there is no light and water. The aircon in our room is not working well and the comfort room stinks since the exhaust is too small. The towels are old and stained. Travel site advisors should not recommend this place. Read the other reviews, you will really regret if you stayed in this...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First off I am not a sticklers for amenities. But this place is a bare minimum kinda of place (which was good for me and why I chose to stayed here for 10 nights), but it is completely overpriced for what you get. I was initially under the impression of 780 per night like advertised on the website and when I initially paired. Apparently I was charged 1380 pesos, and I was told after they over booked me and asked me to leave after 3 nights. After my refund I got short changed and they kept my recipe so I had no proof of them doing it, but my math tells me they kept 3000peso. In addition to them scamming you expect to be kept up all night by the staff who is loud all night. They didn’t change our sheets after my fiancé asked them to, and only did after she reminded them when we came home from visiting her parents. Also we went one night with no electricity after being assured it will come back on soon. In summary do not stay here! For the price you can have a better stay at Go hotel or Dottas place. And there is a watergate hotel for the same price I...

Extremely poor

Poor customer service- upon check in the front desk staff trying to help me with the early check in which I appreciate and thank you for that. After a long zigzag discussion about the booking. 2 . Room AC was horrible - it seems like I’m sleeping in the ferry for the entire night with the extreme loud noise. 3 . Room cleaning wasn’t up to the standard which needs to look up to especially contiguous virus is just around. Zero 4 . Second day of my stay I asked to clean the room. Which was done fine. However the meds and vitamins which just purchase went missing. I asked front desk and the answe was. I am night shift. So what would I do???!!!!! Hk guy who clean up the room will come in the morning to look for the missing meds which I just purchase meds and vitamins .

I think management needs to look into this details. I am so disappointed dissatisfied and would highly never ever recommend this to anyone. Never ever stay in this place. Although the location is fine but extremely horrible place to stay. Whoever your guest is. You guys need to take care to gain atleast more you performance rating among your near competitors...
