Just 5 kms away from Legazpi City airport and a 2 hour bus ride from Naga, the Mayon Lodging House offers a cozy, welcoming environment with a stunning view of Mt. Mayon. Observe this mighty mountain from the rooftop deck, which comes furnished with hammocks, recliners, and tables and chairs from which you can enjoy your meal or glass of wine against the backdrop of Mt. Mayon. The lodge offered the best view of the mountain, and guests often woke up early or stayed up late to see the red lava flow down the mountain during our stay.
The owners have done a wonderful job with the furnishings, tasteful décor, and potted plants on the roof deck that make the lodge feel like home. They treat this property like their home, and are attentive to the finer details that make for a wonderful stay for their guests. The property is clean and well-maintained. The staff is pleasant yet non-intrusive, helpful, and will assist you with planning tours around Albay if needed. There is a separate, privately run restaurant on the ground floor, so you never have to leave to look for a meal, and the owners allow the food to be delivered to the rooftop deck for guests to enjoy.
This is an excellent location to stay for anyone planning to see Mt. Mayon. It is a short drive from major attractions such as Sumlang Lake, Hoyop Hoyopan Cave, Busay falls, the historic Japanese war tunnels, and the Quitinday Hills, the latter which resemble Bohol’s Chocolate Hills. The lodge is also a 10 minute walk from the Cagsawa ruins, from where you can view the remnants of a 16th century Franciscan church against the backdrop of Mt. Mayon. There is a vibrant Cagsawa market where you can indulge in everything from pili nuts, chili ice-cream, and a wide variety of handicrafts and household décor items made from abaca (banana) fiber. Don’t delay, visit the Mayon Lodging...
Read moreI’ll give them a five because they allow pets, thank you very much! And some of their rooms are facing Mayon Volcano and if it’s not, one can always go up to their roof top and you would see the volcano! Very awesome plus indeed! Also, their rooms are very affordable. We booked 2 standard air conditioned rooms for 2 nights for p4k. Not a bad deal indeed!
Still a five despite some downsides: -parking is not so great here as they share their front with a small road where other vehicles to go in and out which means you will need to park a certain way, lined up and tucked against the building so other vehicles can go in and out.
-lighting is not good in the rooms but for me and my family, since we were mostly out anyway, it’s not a big deal.
-bathroom fixtures need replacing or maintenance.
-ongoing construction on their rooftop. I was woken up at 7am from all the hammering and moving about if the carpenters above.
-WiFi signal is a bit weak
Other pluses by the way: -They accept payments via PayMaya -They are right next to Petron -In the same building is an eatery/canteen which is not bad at all if you don’t have the energy to venture out to restaurants (Ayala Mall is about 20-25mins away from this lodge) -They did not charge extra for our cats (but of course be responsible and clean up after your own pets)
I wouldn’t mind coming back to this place. It’s good for those who plan to explore Legazpi Coty and the sights the place...

Why not just use a regular bed? Its difficult to go up and down when i need to use the comfort room at night. FALSE INFORMATION FROM THE CHAT SUPPORT.
The only good thing about this inn is near cagsawa and mayon. Which is the main reason i book this room online.
I always booked standard room when i travel solo and so far, this is the first hotel that still uses an electricfan only in an hotel/inn/lounge in their room. 900++ is not worth the room. Will never come to this hotel again when i visit Bicol.
UPDATE: I did opt to upgrade to A/C room but the owner told me that they are fully book. Again the room has no windows, how can you say its well ventilated? There was no fresh air coming in. Do not make comments that are...
