NEUHAUS INN — Hotel in Daraga

Good points:||1. Very close to Legazpi airport||2. Quiet surroundings with a good view of the Mayon volcano||3. Well-kept rooms||4. Reasonably priced accommodations. Room rates are good for 24 hours. The family room we stayed at only cost us PhP 1400 (due to senior citizen discount). Really cheap!||5. Room service menu also reasonably priced. You can also check with reception for fast food delivery options. We chose Jollibee during our stay.||6. Good water pressure in the showers. Shower area is also quite big. ||7. The family rooms are big enough for families of 4. We also traveled with a toddler so technically, we were 5 in total.||8. There is a small fridge for convenience.||9. Staff were very courteous. ||10. Parking is convenient as there were plenty of spaces.||||For improvement:||1. Room lighting is a bit dim.||2. There is no bidet. I hope the management will be able to add this feature soon.||3. The water heater did not work during our stay. We stayed in two of their family rooms but the heater was useless.||4. Don't expect complete set of toiletries. We were only provided with 3 bars of soap. No dental kits. They provide sets of rubber slippers.||5. No bath floor mats provided. ||6. DISASTER!!! YOUR LIFE IS AT RISK IF YOU STAY IN THIS HOTEL.

We stayed there last November 30, 2014 with my guest and we take room#7&8.. i sleep alone @ room 7 and my guest and the driver was at room#8.. It was about 2am when somebody is trying to open my window and even if im already shouting for help nobody can hear you because of the double door entry. While shouting for help the bad guy still forcing to open the window good thing i was able to check the windows upon checked-in and locked it!.. The sorroundings are very dark because no lightings except for the reception area which was locked so you cannot easily ask for help.. Thank God i have companion at the other room that i was called for help. After the driver came out from the other room, i was shaking and crying without tears.. it was really a traumatic experience that i hope nobody could experience the same that is why i shared this for all traveller's to be aware.

As a sales representative, I have been a regular customer of this hotel year 2007-2009 but now it's not safe staying there anymore...

Sad to say, no one get panic due to that incident, not even a sorry or an explanation from the mgt. it seems they used to it.. we suspect it was an inside job.. in fact, the mgt never care to call for update on the case if they have...

This place is so comfy and cozy. For my four days stay in this place, I haven't encounter any problems. There is a phone available in every rooms, there is a cabinet, tables and chairs, cable TV, a small ref, and the shower has a heater. They change your sheets and blankets and towels everyday, which is nice. You can also order food, they have menu near the phone. They serve SiLogs here. The food is good. So don't hesitate to give it a try. It is very near the airport, you can actually walk from there to Neuhaus Inn. But don't worry about the sounds of landing and taking off planes, you wouldn't almost notice it inside the rooms. For transpo, you can ask the front desk for a tricycle if you wanna go outside. Though there are some waiting tricycles outside the Neuhaus, so transpo is not a problem. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. They are always smiling. As for the price, it is very affordable. They have rooms that go between P1500.00-P1800.00 And you can get a good view of the Mayon Volcano here, and that adds plus points...
