Our stay at The Blue Moon Inn was amazing and we all wanted to stay for longer. We wanted the ocean, and it was a 1min walk to the shores edge of beautiful beach, bordered by cliffs white sand and coconut trees, with the local fisherman's boats moored on the sand. It was close enough to walk to town centre if u needed supplies or to explore the caves and snorkel.reef, but we opted for the recommended by staff tuk tuk drivers who were very professional and delivered great service. It was a bonus that the breakfast is provided free of charge with stay, we enjoyed working our way around the lunch and dinner menu. The staff were so friendly postive and professional. It was a fabulous experience celebrating xmas and New years with then. They made us feel so at home 🏡. The description of the property was accurate, we all enjoyed out stay thoroughly and the staff helping us on top.of all the other services they provided to learn some Biyasa language and all their recommendations were spot on! Thankyou Blue Moon Inn team we hope to see...
Read moreBlue Moon Inn is a great place to stay in Panglao....Central to the island, extremely neat and modern, clean, well priced rooms with great, quiet aircon, comfy large beds : easy to sleep comfortably after a day of local adventure....The pool is excellent (long enough for laps) and dining area is just lovely, once again very clean and tidy too...Private and quiet yet only 100m from a nice white sand beach...The food is just first class, both local and western dishes served promptly and very well priced. l find it hard to criticise any aspect of my stay, the place or the staff....The place, buildings and fittings are very good indeed, but the greatest asset is the staff : they are exceptionally friendly, helpful and nice people. Nothing is too hard, good local advice/knowledge too.....Lovely people that go out of their way to make sure you're happy and enjoy your stay....|As Arnie said...."l'll be back"...
Read moreAverage hotel quite out of the way of everything else on the island, no restaurants within walking distance.
As usual with the Philippines the staff were all lovely.
Room great A/C fairly small for the price wet room arrangement, poor water pressure, tap only intermittently worked ants around the door and in the bed comfy bed and good TV with Netflix
Food breakfast ok, minimal non Filipino options
Location 300-350 peso tuktuk from port on rural/local side of the island, 30 min motorcycle to the tourist area with restaurants etc nearby beach full of litter multiple male adults tend to loiter outside hotel entrance at all times if the day, can make you feel slightly wary
Other staff all lovely motorcycle hire available however comparatively expensive for the Philippines, cost us 750 pesos for just over 24 hours pool very mirky/cloudy, we did not feel comfortable...
