I had an outstanding experience at Davao Airport Hotel, and I cannot thank Rodj, the property supervisor/manager, and her wonderful team enough for their exceptional service. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to accommodate all of my needs, even during a time when the property's internet and Wi-Fi were temporarily down due to repairs. Rodj, in particular, was incredibly thoughtful—she even lent me her personal phone to ensure I stayed connected. It’s rare to see such dedication to customer service, and I truly appreciate her efforts. The hotel is conveniently located just a 10-15 minute walk from the airport, making it an ideal choice for those needing quick access. The property itself is impeccably clean, with a great, homey vibe that made it the perfect place for a relaxing staycation. The rooms are spacious, making it suitable for both couples and families. If you're visiting Davao or need a place to stay overnight before catching an evening or early morning flight, this hotel is highly recommended. In addition to its prime location and comfort, the hotel offers plenty of amenities within the same compound—a convenience store, laundry shop, food court, and even a cafe. Everything you need is right at your doorstep.I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Davao. The combination of excellent service, clean facilities, and convenient amenities makes it a top choice for both short stays and...
Read moreI stayed in OYO on the night before my departure back to Manila, after attending my aunt's interment. I stayed in a de luxe twin bedroom. Promo rates were reasonable, but it didnt come with bfast. The room looked a bit dated, but was very clean. It had free coffee and a mini bar with items for sale. The room provided towels, toothbrushes, shampoo and soaps and the bathroom wonderfully had heater. There was also a tv with tv box and an electric kettle.
Its awesome that its just a stone throw from the airport.
I would like to commend the great front desk officers who were on duty when I checked in and out. They were quick to attend and very polite. I am very thankful that they really try to make checking in and out a breeze. I was disappointed with the morning duty staff whom the front desk officer asked to inspect the room so we could check out right away. He was lounge sitting on a lobby chair, busy watching videos on his phone, and didnt appear to budge a bit when the front officer asked him to do an inspection. When I told her that we were trying to get to our early flight, and her companion seemed to be in his own little world (you dont need to keep staff like this one), instead of repeating herself to the other, she quickly just head off to do the inspection herself. Pls get rid of the lounge sitting staff, you dont need to have one free loading staff in...
Read moreThe hotel has a great location, if you are just catching a flight. The terminal is at a walking distance.Room is spacious and comfortable, i only felt certain areas could have been a bit cleaner, as there were food crumbles scattered around desk.Maybe it was cleaned in a rush, as they forgot to even put the towel in, but i got it after a request. In the bathroom, there is hot water, but only hard soap and shampoo available, no body shower gel.Prepare to have 500 pesos for the key deposit. But also, they were flexible when i said i am leaving the country, and would prefer not to have a cash leftover (dont do my mistake, you still need to pay the airport terminal fee in cash - 784 pesos!).I decided to spend my last banknotes on food. Frankly, the shop in the hotel building is so overpriced, that I rather walked 5 minutes back toward town, and bought some snacks at 7/11, much more affordable. You can buy instant noodles and make them with the hot water from the hotel corridor. There's a water heater in the room also (for instant coffee), but you would have to bring drinkable water. Well, there were even instant noodles offered in the room, but i didnt see utensils available (spoon, or fork, or...
