Annipie Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in Davao City

This branch in particular has great ambience but really awful customer service.

1 slice of dulce de leche cake and 1 cappuccino cinnamon roll took 25-30 mins to arrive. We even had to follow up on our order.

For lunch, we ordered K-pasta and their signature spicy binagoongang baboy. Both arrived at our table after 20 mins, which was only fair.

I only have a few comments on the K-pasta. The noodles were hard to chew. Not al dente. The dish has potential but failed, because it was done poorly I’d say. The spicy binagoongang baboy, on the other hand, was umami as always.

Lastly, I ordered iced Kiwi Crush and it took 30-35 mins. before it was served to me with only two ice cubes. Pretty disappointing.

This is not the first time that I’ve experienced their customer service. Staffs don’t have the initiative to take away empty dishes. They aren’t very attentive to their customers. Ma-shock nalang ka gi kuha pinakalit ang cutlery sa imong lamesa, wala man lang pasabi.

If you want to experience Annipie at its best, try its other branches. Dili worth it ang biyahe kung gikan ka sa downtown or south...

Their Tiramisu coffee was meh, very basic. The tiramisu syrup was not mixed; it was on the bottom of the cup. It's still not good even after mixing. Sorry!

I was about to order a slice of blueberry cheesecake, but I changed my mind when the staff said that the slice that I saw would have to be sliced into 2. The entire cake was P1,350, if Im not mistaken. 1 slice was P230, and the staff said that their cake had 10 slices. I did the math and decided not to order one.

I ordered their biscoff cinnamon bun instead, and it was amazing!! Ordered a few more...
