Island Pacific Villas — Hotel in General Luna

The property is waterfront, on a nice beach stretch and with direct view of Daku Island. The location is at the end of a dead-end street, which creates reduced motor traffic. The manager is very polite and helpful. Our unit was a beachfront unit on the ground floor, in effect making it the gate entrance of the property. Next to the unit is the open area common kitchen and eating table. Thus, noise from other guests was a constant. We were the last ones to be able to sleep, and the first ones to wake up very early morning, due to the chattering in the common kitchen/dinning area and people entering and exiting the property. Also, every time the guests in the unit above us would use their toilet, loud noises from their flushing could be heard as the waste water would make way through the plumbing....

If you're looking for paradise, this is the spot. Just 15 minutes from the mainroad in GL. We booked 2 nights already and an extra for tonight because we love it here. If you're a dog lover, you're in the right spot. There are about 4 dogs that stay here, I just spent the whole night petting them because they're so sweet. Queeny manages the place and is the best. She loves to help you out. Furthermore: rent a bike 400P/day, free kayaking, lunch possible at the resort next to it (also nice!), reservations are included breakfast (saves you money and time). Highly recommend in Siargao if you want to relax after a day/night spending in...

It's lovely if you're looking for a quiet, private place. But it's far from the main town, and you're going to have to make sure you have some kind of transportation arranged. Added plus here are the hosts...
