La Casa Española Kalibo Apartelle — Hotel in Kalibo

Update: 08/2020 Been coming to this place for years now but recently they've been developing a new spot in their new building. Across from their original rooftop unit (in La Casa Dos Bldg.), is the newly christened La Terraza which is being envisioned as a Bar, Cafe & Grill. Right now, they are doing a soft opening of the place - they aren't serving food yet but the bar is fully stocked. You can also rent the place as a venue for small (because of COVID-19) get-togethers. Full seating capacity is actually 25 pax inside the air-conditioned room with the option to add more tables at the "al fresco"/open air area. You can bring food to cook or grill since they have a kitchenette and barbecue grill. You can also do sleepovers - perfect for barkada hang-outs. Just ask the admin for pricing and details.

Original Review: 10/2019 Ganda ng place! Everything is clean, all units are fully-furnished and the neighborhood is secure. The staff and owner are accommodating beyond expectations and will definitely make sure your stay is comfortable - short or long-term. Perfect for families or individuals who want to stay in Kalibo indefinitely - very accessible especially the malls and markets but still situated in Kalibo where it is still peaceful and avoids the noise of busy cars, tricycles and other establishments. They are also letting units for overnight/transient customers but please call ahead and inquire because trends tend to fluctuate - they may be already full so contacting...

La Casa Española is a cozy place that provides all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere is inviting and homey. One notable feature is their honesty store. It's a thoughtful addition that adds convenience and flexibility to the overall experience.

For those who rely on a strong and reliable internet connection for remote work, La Casa Espanola might not be the ideal choice. The internet provided was insufficient and often had weak and unstable connectivity, making it challenging to carry out work effectively. This was a significant drawback, I really hope they have already addressed this for future guests.
