Very accessible in the heart of Lipa, services are good and staffs are very accommodating. Room is clean and has a fresh smell. Bedsheets and linens are tidy as well. Cons is that no elevator and you need to climb up to 3rd floor. No parking outside and no meals available aside from some snacks and drinks, but fastfood chains are just a minute walk like Jollibee, Inasal, Chowking, etc.

I like Meaco Hotel in Lipa because the place is affordable. You get a great deal for your money. The room is spacious and nice and the furniture is beautiful. Wifi connection is good and all the staff are helpful. The room I got was good for four people and it only costs P1,200 (around $24). And that room is really clean and nice.

Pros: 1. Cheapest hotel in Lipa but not for budget traveler. 2. Near fastfood, market, and church. 3. Secured with 24 hours security guard. 4. Polite staff. 5. Clean room with good linen and pillow. 6. With hot and cold shower. Cons: 1. Weak wifi. 2. No elevator. You walk upstairs going to 2nd or 3rd floor.

It seemed like it was part of the Novo Retail Store/General Merchandise. There are no available parking lots in front of the hotel entrance itself. It could be the typical hotel for budget travelers and the type who just wanna lay down and rest due to the extreme heat and/or weather conditions that the bustling city brings. The heat can really exhaust your energy. Apart from it is right beside the store above mentioned, it is also surrounded by a variety of commercial establishments big and small alike. A few minutes walk are convenient shops and stores like Dunkin' Donuts, 7-11, Mercury Drug and Jollibee. I have mentioned the following stores since the hotel seemed to serve only breakfast for overnight guests which can only be served as early as 7am only and not earlier than that. There is a security guard that open and closes the door for you. A couple of attendants at the front desk where you can leave the key card/s every time you go out. Check in very flexible as well as check out time. This is one very good thing about this hotel, you can check in any time and check out anytime as well. Meaning they can just compute the hours you used and charge only those hours to you. You can pay the estimated hours you wish to stay and can add o\n to whatever extension you may used up. There are no elevators though. So the elderly may take time to go upstairs. On the second floor landing is a coffee shop with no coffee, supplies and barista. But it's understandable, it seemed that it's supposed to cater to your table and chairs needs in case you and your company of family and friends wants to eat together. On our floor as well as in the lobby, a refreshments counter is available for snacks and beverages such as water and colored drinks. As for the room's amenities, ours had a single queen-sized bed, maybe because our companions then assumed that since we were a couple, they have already though ahead that we will b needing "sexy time" if you know what I'm talking. But actually, we were ready to share a dorm or a family room but it seems they do not want us to be "family" or dorm mates. Anyway, going back, sorry for the blabber, apart from the bed, of course, there is air conditioning. 2 pillows, a blanket, 2 bath towels, 2 pairs of slippers, a roll of tissue, 2 round soaps and I think there are sachets of shampoo as well. There are also 2 sets of toothbrushes and toothpastes. The hotel, apart from the lack of parking lot is still near some destinations like an art and music place which I forgot the name but I will also do a review on that place, SM Lipa and Robinson's Lipa. View from the very small window not to mention is the window of the other rooms. Finally, I think this hotel is really practical due to its very flexible hours. It has reasonable rates based on the amenities and toiletries for guests' disposal/use. Sadly, it has no parking lot right in front the hotel's entrance. Generally, it is...

If you want to visit Lipa city this is the only hotel within the city proper. Unfortunately, while the hotel is an acceptable budget hotel, it is infested with cockroaches. (It’s serious.) The staff are doing their best to keep the rooms clean and disinfected, but getting rid of them has proven an impossible task so far.

Lipa city is well worth visiting, but you should come prepared with large plastic bags to keep your belongings protected. We were able to last two nights, and are glad we stuck it through. Lipa is a great city.

(I hate to leave a bad review for anyone, so keep in mind that I wrote this in February 2024 and things might be better when you decide to come here. Let’s hope so.)

If you are also planning to visit Batangas city, the Meaco Royal Hotel here is free from roaches and a very good stay at a reasonable price, (we are here now and it’s a delight.) The hotel franchise locations all seem to be identical in every way. Friendly...

The hotel was located @ the left corner of NOVO its a bustling/busy town, where you can buy all those imitations etc etc.( its like a China town in Lipa). The downside of this hotel was,' NO SOUND PROOF (You can hear all the thudding/ventilation roaring from other rooms/ banging of maintainance from above floors 24hrs./ Shouting & noised from further rooms.. Apart from that,my key card since the day I've arrived was not working, its seems its a trick for them so you need to kept on asking their assistance( You need to give a Tip). DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLE ITEMS INSIDE ( All the staff can open your room) except me who booked the room i find it terrible to kept on asking to open for me.). Am Giving 4Star for maintaining the room clean as possible. Plus the space is good. NO COMPLIMENTARY WATER. ( A GLASS...
