When I was booking our stay in Zambales on Agoda, I was a bit hesitant at first. There weren’t many reviews, and their social media wasn’t very active. But I took the risk because it had the best location among all the hotels in a similar price range.
Super Friendly Owner and Staff: They were really approachable and kind. They even gave us extra pillows for free!
Yummy Lunch: The lunch was delicious and reasonably priced. Everything tasted fresh, and they even threw in some extra rice for free.
Great Location: The hotel is right in the heart of Liwliwa, just a 3-5 minute walk to the beach. Plus, there are numerous food spots everywhere when you step out, making it easy to find meals anytime.
Spacious Room: Our room (with window) was big and spacious, comfortably fitting up to 4 people with extra beddings available.
Decent Water Pressure: The water pressure in the shower was okay, but the shower head could use a bit of cleaning since some of the water holes were clogged.
Strong WiFi Connection + Big Smart TV: Liwliwa can have some dead spots, but we loved that they had strong, high-speed internet. The smart TV was a great bonus too!
Chill Outdoor Area with Pool: The outdoor lounging area with a pool was nice. The pool did have a strong chemical smell and could use some cleaning, but it was still a great place to relax and take a break from the beach.
There were some power outages during our stay, but that's not their fault. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The location, friendly staff, and spacious room made our trip enjoyable. With a few minor improvements, this hotel has the potential to be even better, but it will definitely be our go-to accommodation whenever we...
Read moreThe hotel has a nice rustic vibe which is cool, the staff were very courteous and approachable, however, there are a few things that need to be improved/ handled better Some guests were noisy and rowdy even at 2am, the hotel needs to put in place a rule regarding this. We weren’t able to sleep well because guests were shouting and laughing at 2am in the common area There was no water (for bathing or toilet use) the next day. They offered the common bathroom as an alternative which is a little counterintuitive since we booked a room with a private bathroom. Understandably, there was a power interruption the night before, but still, an offer of a bucket of water or equivalent would have been better. Wifi is really spotty. There’s hardly any signal for Globe or Smart in Liwliwa, so it’s vital to get a resort with good WIFI connection.
For a rate of ₱6,600+, I’d say it didn’t feel as such. The hotel has good potential, but please take the above pointers in...
Read moreRoom: Room was minimalist and quite bare I liked that they had Fire TV instead of the usual cable channels; we could watch Netflix Toilet was big and spacious, however at the time their hot water wasn’t working and water pressure was quite weak, which was a letdown because of the price
Service: Staff were attentive and responsive online, which was great Food was amazing! We tried Chef Migui’s kinilaw and sugbo and the seafood was fresh and well-cooked
Location: Mosaic is located 2-3mins away from the Liwa beach. Very good location It’s also located close to the main strip of the beach, so very close to the pop-up stalls and bars. We were able to have some drinks there without being too far from our resort However, they didn’t have a sign that specifically says ‘Mosaic’ so we were confused if we had actually arrived. Good thing we knew the resto Tabemasho...
