We had dinner at Agoho Restaurant on a quiet Friday night and found the overall experience to be pleasant and relaxing. The restaurant has a small, cozy setup with only a limited number of tables available, which made it feel more intimate, perfect if you're looking for a low-key meal away from the usual crowds.
While the ambiance was simple and charming, it did feel a bit warm and humid inside. Thankfully, they had a few stand fans placed around the area, which helped make the space more comfortable as we dined.
I ordered one of their sausage meals (Smoked Bockwurst), and it was quite good, well-seasoned and filling. A friend also ordered the Chicken Schnitzel which was also tasty. We also tried the Pepperoni from Roxy's, which had a unique flavor twist, though it didn’t exactly stand out when compared to other pepperoni pizzas we’ve had before. That said, the food presentation was thoughtful and elevated the overall experience.
Service was commendable. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and attentive to our needs. Even with just a few people dining in that night, they maintained a welcoming vibe throughout our stay.
As for pricing, the meals were a bit on the expensive side given the setting and portion sizes. It’s not the most budget-friendly option, but if you’re after quality presentation, peaceful surroundings, and personalized service, it might just be worth the splurge.
Overall, Agoho Restaurant is a nice little spot for a quiet meal, especially if you’re in the area and want something simple but...
