Having stayed here now a number of times and always greeted with a smile, remembering that we are regular guests, the rooms we have stayed in have always been cleaned when we have arrived and cleaned when requested as we sometimes tell the staff it doesn't require today, never a problem if asking for extra towels or extra pillows, they always go the extra mile ! You only have to ask !! Breakfast is either American or local choices if you require anything special the staff go out of their way to help, I only use fresh milk so buy it and leave it in their refrigerator which they produce each day for me ! As in most local hotels food rarely comes hot but again its your own fault if you don't make the request for it to be hot and never a problem for me as they know me by now ha ha, hot hot hot ! They are not mind readers so just ask and you will be pleased ! They even put my evening drinks glasses in the freezer to cool the beer as they used to ask if I want ice in the beer, err a big no no for me ice in beer ! Again make your request and they please ! I do however feel that the pool has to much in the way of Chlorine as you cannot see through the dense blue, which really needs addressing as it should be crystal clear to see the bottom of the pool, so never actually been in the pool for that reason, which would be a bonus if addressed before next time we go ! On the whole a good basic friendly place to stay that won't...
Read moreHotel management should seriously put DOUBLE LOCKS in all rooms. We stayed at the ground floor rooms near the pool (I guess these are the older rooms and the ones in the main building are way better). Doors open outward and have no supplemental locks inside. On the 4th night of my stay, a man and a woman (probably employees) opened my room a few minutes past midnight! Who does room check at 12 md!! Good thing I woke up as I heard them fumbling with the knob. Told me they "thought the room was already vacated." Whut? Whatever purpose they wanted to use the room for, that should have been avoided if there were locks inside the room.||I don't mind the very basic room, a no-remote TV, a slimy pail in the room, and a stagnant pool (which was probably where all the mosquitoes came from). What didn't allow me to sleep well at night was the possibility of someone barging into the room during the night, and I can't believe it really happened. :(||Guests who stayed in the main building said their rooms were nice!||Buffet for functions were managed, and if you're late for a few minutes the buffet would have been collected by then, but they will gladly prepare a plated meal for you. Ilocano dishes are yummy!||The owner and the staff are accommodating and pleasant. Made up for the lapses I mentioned above. Thank...
Read morethe hotel was recommended by our partner travel agency hence i am confident that i will get a good room to stay...to my disappointment, the room that was assigned to me was too small...tv was just like 19" lcd...cupboard was fitted in a very tight corner...CR has no hot & cold facility...toilet fixtures look horrible...they even have an old pail and worn out "tabo". Shower was worn out and they fitted in bare GI pipe with no paint and was not even fixed. no ref...no hanger but it has a very large sofa bed like furniture that actually impede mobility inside a cramped room....i actually freaked out and complained to their room service attendant. Good thing...they transferred me to a much bigger and more comfortable room with a queen size and single size bed...still got no view but wifi is working....no ref...no slipper provided thus its hard to walk around barefoot on ceramic tile flooring...a bit inconvenient...free breakfast was really a budget meal thus its hard to enjoy the true ambiance of stay in Ilocos Norte....not really a recommended place to stay in Ilocos norte....i got excited about the pool but when i checked on it...it was worn out and...
