Stayed April 18 - April 19 (1 Night)||Reception|Upon arriving at the hotel driveway, the guard assisted us with the baggage. We arrived on time for check-in (2PM) but unfortunately our room was still not available. The receptionist advised us to wait for 30 minutes but since we had not yet eaten lunch, we opted to eat at the restaurant first. After eating, we proceeded again to the reception desk to ask if the room was already available but unfortunately again it was not and we were advised to wait for another 5 minutes. We waited at the lounge area which is cozy and spacious. I also noticed that they were handing out welcome drinks to other guests but we were not given any. In the end, we were able to get into our room around 3PM.||Rooms|The room was very spacious, clean and well equipped. The AC was working fine and WiFi connection inside the room was very stable and fast. Complete toiletries were provided. The TV in the room was already a smart one but you have to use your own Netflix Account. Our room has a balcony facing the pool. We also appreciated that they have provided a rack at the balcony where we can hang our wet swimming clothes. We got a Premiere King Room for a reasonable rate.||Amenities|They have a restaurant, a coffee shop, a pool and a gym but I will give their restaurant a more detailed review later. Gym is well equipped and spacious. The pool can accommodate a large number of people. Pool water temperature was just right. Due to the high number of people, pool chairs and tables were not enough.||Restaurant|Restaurant ambiance is great. Tables are properly spaced and do not feel crowded even if the restaurant is full. We ate here for lunch, dinner and breakfast. For lunch we just ordered two pasta dishes and fries. It was already 2PM so it was not that crowded and our order arrived without waiting too much. Both the carbonara and pesto tasted good. For dinner we ordered steak, a tempura platter, rice and pancit. We were already waiting 30 minutes for our food to arrive when the waiter informed us that we needed to cancel the pancit order. We opted to replace it with a cream of mushroom soup but the waiter asked us if we were willing to wait 30 minutes for the soup. We explained that it was supposedly a replacement for the canceled order and if it could be put in the queue among our previous orders and not at the end of the queue. Kitchen supposedly agreed and an order was placed for the soup. Nearly 1 hour after ordering, the steak came to our table but the other orders were nowhere to be found. Initially we waited for the other orders to come so we can eat as a family but since 15 minutes have already passed since we received the steak, we already decided to eat the steak first. The steak actually tasted good. It was well salted and the sauce that came with it was also good. Halfway through the steak, our other others such as the rice, tempura platter and pitcher of juice came and shortly after that the soup came. Maybe on a rough estimate, we waited for more than 1 and a half hours for all of our orders to be served.||Breakfast|Luckily for breakfast they serve it buffet style so we no longer need to wait for us to eat. There were plenty of choices for the viand. You can choose between Beef Tapa, Longganisa, Scrambled Egg and Fried Bangus. There was also a salad bar and slices of bread with two choices of jam. Although a choice of kiddie cereals was missing.||Generally I enjoyed the breakfast more than the dinner experience last night. Although there were small problems encountered during check-in and dining at the restaurant, I would just assume that it was because of the influx of people due to Holy Week. We still enjoyed our stay here and we would still consider staying here on our next visit to...

The hotel is new, cited as being built in 2023, and is the newest looking I could find as I walked around the city.||||We had a rough start on our first day with the refrigerator not working and housekeeping did not check, and we found a container of moldy rice that was off putting. Other than that, the room seemed cleaned. The other major con is that the shower does not have much water strength and is extremely low output. The bathroom and the room are a decently good size for two.||||The coffee shop/bar was not open when we arrived, which the manager explained temporary closure was due to repairs to the coffee machine and exhaust system--upon check-in the reception desk was not sure when the coffee shop/bar would reopen. However, within a couple of days the place was re-opened with coffee products and other bar items, food, drinks, and desserts. I had my first hot caramel macchiato for the first time since my arrival in the Philippines with a cheesecake prepared by the restaurant.||||The main restaurant is at the back of the hotel and on our first night we ate but found that the large menu did not have all the items available. We found throughout our stay inconsistent preparation of food. For example, first night the fries were hot and fresh plus nicely salted. The other two nights was not the case and did not have the nice hot and salty balance we experienced the first night plus they were lukewarm. One night the salt balance was perfect, but fries were cold. The breakfast was all over the map in freshness. The only guaranteed hot item was the daily soup. Most days the scrambled eggs were cold. All in all, the staff were receptive to my feedback and for example even had fresh fried eggs served up hot from the kitchen. Kitchen was not well organized when packed with customers as some foods were not prepared properly, i.e., steak overcooked well done when medium rare was requested, and food came out inconsistent and not always hot-n-fresh.||||Parking can be limiting when busy with paved parking in front of the hotel getting full fast and parking lot off to the side appeared to have gravel with grass grown over that not sure how it would fare in the rain.||||Staff extremely accommodating and friendly.
