Hollywood — Hotel in Marilao

To begin with, there are two types of accommodation that Hollywood offers, one is the hotel type, another is the "drive-inn". i just want to make clear that maybe some may have thought they are the same, hence the poor review.||||i fortunately have stayed in the "hotel" type. so here is my honest review.||||at first, you'd be surprised to see and think that everything is "drive-in" because of where the reception is located. apparently, the receptionist handles both.||as we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and had a good feel of how the service is. but be ready to oil up your knees as they don't have elevators, and they are i think until 4th floor (with your heavy bags).||||outright, i can say that the rooms are good for 1, but can be a bit crowded for two. here's what the room offers: basic toiletries, soft towels, split type AC, wall mounted tv, a table and 2 chairs, soft (but small) pillows. the water pressure is impressive with hot and cold water. there's bidet. the security is also ok, because there are tons of cctv cameras around.||||here's what i hope they would have in the future: tv that is easy to use. better lighting. double lock system for the door. ||||but what i liked about the hotel are: fast service! one request, and they're on it! average time, 4 mins (requested for water, ice, extra pillows. all these in separate occasions). the breakfast that comes with the room is also good! it is delicious and very generous in serving size (i ordered tocilog). also, there are plentiful smoking areas. i didn't have a hard time looking for one.||||well, i stayed here twice already, and what can i say? i would...

Horrible place to stay. Would give negative 5 if I could. Rude and aggressive behavior. They chase and demand daily payment for room and food service charges although you have a long reservation plus deposit, as if you're not going to pay. No daily room service. Room is nasty, dirty, cockroaches, human hair and ants everywhere in the room. The name Hollywood Suites and Resort...should be Alleywood Stinks and Revoke. More of a love MOTEL than a resort. I have booked a family room for a night as we were going to Clark the following day and meeting few friends that evening. It is very near SM Marilao where you can do a bit of shopping and get something to eat. Apart from that, I could not make any other positive comment about the place.
