JASTINELLA HOTEL — Hotel in Masbate

Jastinella Hotel is a much better option compared to Treasure Island—both in terms of service and value for money.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were very friendly, easy to talk to, and highly accommodating. They were quick to adjust based on our needs—like adding more tocino to our breakfast meal (which they call the Tickling Breakfast). Even the guard was helpful, assisting with our luggage going up to the upper floors since the hotel doesn’t have an elevator.

The air conditioning in the rooms was also noticeably better than what we experienced in Treasure Island, and the room rates are almost 50% cheaper—definitely great value!

That said, there’s still room for improvement. The lobby could be more inviting with better lighting and air conditioning. Minor upgrades in the bathroom would also help, especially in making sure the water flows directly into the drainage and not around the floor.

Despite these small issues, we truly enjoyed our stay, thanks to the warm and helpful service from the entire staff. Would definitely recommend for budget-conscious travelers looking for a cozy,...

The hotel staff is super friendly and accommodating.

They will bring your plated breakfast directly to your room. You need to select your breakfast a day in advance so that they can prepare it.

They serve free coffee; just request it at the counter anytime. Their brewed coffee is the best in the entire city.

The room is suitable for single occupancy as well as for couples. The air conditioning works well and there is a safety box and a cabinet available. Toiletries with the hotel branding are provided. Netflix is also available. The internet connection is stable on the floor where you are situated.

There is a salon on the ground floor, and EastWest and Legazpi Savings Bank are just across from the hotel.
