We had a gorgeous little bamboo cabin here (this does not have air con, just a fan, though you can get air con in the bungalow which costs more). We stayed for two nights. Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful, they hooked us up with a guide who looked after us for the time we were there, taking us to different locations on his 'tricycle' - motorbike and sidecar. We didn't have our room made up during our stay but I'm sure the owners would be happy for you to request housekeeping should you need it. ||Toilets/sink areas are well kept and provide toilet roll and showers are clean but no hot water (it's just air temp) and no toiletries are provided (this refers to the shared comfort rooms/showers on site). You can pay (1 peso!) for hot or cold drinking water but tea and coffee are also offered by the owners. There is a BBQ available on site, with utensils, plates, cups, etc provided, with the agreement that guests clean up after themselves (there is a kitchenette with sink and two hobs). ||The beach area is so quaint; it has a walled swimming area with pebbles and water at high tide, which leads into the sea. The view of the open sea is fantastic and the sunrise can be watched from here (around 5am in September). This area is great if you fancy a safe swim in the sea or wait til the tide goes out and go rock pooling in the walled area! Beach glamping is how I would describe our bamboo house stay, but this was the cheapest option. Great for backpackers and lovely service throughout. We didn't use them but laundry service and convenience store are available (we did see a range of products such as t-shirts/bags for sale). There is also a cute and convenient dining shelter where we could work/chill/chat for the evening. Cats may jump on the roof of the hut so don't let that alarm you! Ants are around but not in the cabins. The mattress was comfortable but quite thin and firm, pillows and sheets...
