I, with a help of a friend, made a very last minute reservation in this property, which has been warmly accepted Christine, our booker and contact. From the city, my family and I arrived in the premises at late hour already. Only to find out that a staff is already waiting for us. I was really worried not to see the hotel immediately. Jean, one of the night staff, was there and introduced herself. She assisted us from check-in and brought us to the room. The room was very basic, toiletries were basic as well (you may bring your own), but there's a TV with proper channels and most important is, the room was clean. It was also spacious considering that I have been given good for 4 people. The location is situated by the sea; mountains are on the other side of the road. Very quiet surroundings and the resort has that provincial homey feeling that is common to Filipino rural life. There is no restaurant but a small bar though the staff will be happy to cook something for you. There are also basic stock of beverages including alcohol. Should you prefer to eat outside the hotel, there is a nearby town where you can buy food and other stuff and the friendly staff will be happy to call a tricycle for you. Jean and her colleagues were able to help me as well booking our whale shark experience and the Sumilon Island visit. Though I customized the rest of my tours. This place is really peaceful and the sea will bring you calmness. Above all, the staff (and I may say the rest of the people I've encountered) were amazingly friendly and accommodating. I have already recommended this place...
Read moreOur group of 4 arrived around 8 or 9PM from Canyoneering and we only stayed a night. |We booked 2 rooms and we were given the nipa huts next to the shore line.|Since we arrived really late, we asked if we could extend our stay for an hour or 2 since it's a Sunday and we confirmed that there were no other bookings after us. They did let us but with a fee that was incredibly high for an hour of extended stay so we opted not to. |There was no free breakfast and everything was really expensive. 150-200php a meal with limited "breakfast meal" options and really small serving-- not including coffee. They only accept cash and ATMs are really far from this place, so as other eateries. We had no choice so we ate there even when we're all low on cash (last day in Cebu, going to airport after this).|There's access to the sea (not a beach!). It's the literal sea with fast-rising water and big waves. I opted not to swim there as I was afraid I might get swept by the waves and there's no one to look after me. |The ladies were nice at least, they gave us free hot water when we asked for it-- good thing we brought...
Read moreIncredible. Mum and I absolutely enjoyed our stay here and she even went so far as to have them in our room talking as though they are long lost friends. They were super sweet and helpful and we had the privilege of seeing a big function carried out. The view from the rooms at the end was beautiful. We stayed in the bamboo room (no tv, but with A/C) and you could literally hear the waves at night if you left the window open for a cool breeze at night. They have a small little tiki bar at the entrance to the beach and they serve until about 10pm sometimes later. The resort is roughly about a 5-10min taxi ride to the main area and will cost you about 10p to take a pedi cab. They can even offer to help you with organising tourist stuff like the whale sharks and sumilion island day visit. I will definitely come back to stay again when were in Obslob. Thank you so much for your hospital and everything...
