My family and I decided to visit the falls, we drive to pagsanjan and randomly picked this location . The staff were friendly and we paid Php 1,375 per person to visit the falls . The amount included life jacket, helmet, cushion, raft ride under falls and entrance fee. We are a family of 4 so we took two boats up to the falls. We were instructed by the staff to take nothing with us other than cameras, because of the children I took a waterproof bag with water bottles and candy, sun screen. Was an absolutely delightful ride up to the waterfall, we travelled over several Rapids skilfully negotiated by our boatmen. Another boat tried to sell us water but we declined ( clearly this is why they want you to take nothing so you have to buy water). Our boatmen were great and only once asked that if we enjoyed our ride we should give them a tip. Along the way we saw monkeys, kingfishers, turtles and iguanas which the children loved. Once you reach the falls, the noise is incredible for such a small waterfall , you then leave your canoe and take a bamboo raft under the waterfall if you wish, my children were hesitant but we convinced them to do it - they loved it and had a swim too. Going back to the starting point is much quicker as you are going with current. We bought a change of clothes/towel and lunch with us and left them with our driver. At the end of the ride we gave each boatman a tip . Would not do the ride again but would recommend to visitors- don't forget...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at Pagsanjan Falls Lodge and summer resort, and overall, it was a memorable experience. The lodge is set in a beautiful location with stunning views of lush greenery and the majestic Pagsanjan Falls. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, with the sounds of the river and nature surrounding the area, making it the perfect place for anyone looking to relax and unwind. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, offering a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the area. One of the highlights was the abundance of comfort rooms (restrooms) available around the property, making it easy to freshen up at any time. However, it’s worth noting that there is an extra charge for the comfort room in your cottage, which may catch you off guard. Additionally, electricity usage in the cottages is not included in the room rate, so you’ll need to pay separately for that as well. While these additional costs might be inconvenient for some, they didn’t significantly detract from my overall experience. The lodge itself is well-maintained, and the service was friendly and attentive. Despite the small extra fees, the breathtaking views, comfortable accommodations, and serene environment made it a great getaway. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape surrounded by nature, Pagsanjan Falls Lodge is a solid choice, just keep in mind the added costs for comfort rooms and...
Read moreAfter more than a decade we revisited the famous Pagsanjan Falls. We stayed overnight and booked 2 Deluxe Rooms at this lodge. Parking was a nightmare since they offered day trips to their swimming pools and to the falls. The security guard was nice and helpful though. The staff were all friendly and professional. The rooms are small with 2 single beds and 1 double bed with a 4-inch mattress and worn out linens. The room had a musty smell so I had to get the air-freshener from our car. Our room is only a few steps from the swimming pool. The air condition unit though was very loud and irritating. The toiletries given consisted only of a small piece of soap and tissue paper. The bathroom has hot and cold shower, but the toilet bowl had no bidet. The towels are also old. Our accommodation included free breakfast which was rudimentary. They have a restaurant but the food menu is a bit pricey. The best part though of our stay is the swimming pool which was big, warm, with kiddie slides, and a lifeguard on duty. The water was clear although there are debris at the bottom. Our kids enjoyed the pools so much that they went swimming until almost closing time. Because of its very affordable price, I would recommend this lodge to...
