We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Minshuku KCS Hotel and Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by very kind, polite, and hospitable employees who made us feel right at home. Their exceptional customer service truly made a difference throughout our stay.
The hotel offers delicious food, with a variety of tasty options at an affordable price. The menu is reasonably priced, making it a great value for the quality of food served. The free breakfast was a pleasant surprise, and it was the perfect way to start our day.
The location of the hotel is in a quiet area, which made it an ideal place for total relaxation. We were able to enjoy some peace and quiet, surrounded by beautiful natural surroundings, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle.
Our room was spacious, well-maintained, and clean—everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the hotel offers laundry services at a very cheap price, which was incredibly convenient.
One of the highlights of our experience was the reliable service provided by the hotel’s staff. We ventured to a very far location, and our knowledgeable driver went above and beyond by not only ensuring a smooth and safe journey, but also serving as our tour guide along the way. His insights into the area and local culture made the trip even more enjoyable, and his attentiveness and care made us feel completely at ease.
We also had the joy of celebrating New Year with the wonderful staff. It felt like a warm home away from home, as everyone joined in the festivities and made the occasion extra special.
When we requested a dinner at the viewing deck, the staff went above and beyond to make it an awesome dining experience. They served our food and made sure to stay nearby to check if we needed anything, ensuring we had everything we wanted. Their thoughtful and attentive service made the meal even more memorable.
What truly stood out to us was how kind and warm the staff were towards our daughter, who is usually a bit shy. During our stay, she started looking forward to seeing the hotel staff every day, as if they were part of our family. Their gentle and caring nature made her feel completely at ease, and it was heartwarming to see her so comfortable and happy.
Additionally, we had to go to church twice in the very early morning, around 5 AM, and the hotel staff did not hesitate to drive us to our destination, making sure we got there safely. On top of that, I started to feel sick—something that often happens to me when traveling—and they were so thoughtful, offering us medicine to help me feel better. We really appreciate all of their care and attention!
Overall, Minshuku KCS Hotel and Restaurant exceeded our expectations. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking for great hospitality, comfort, and a peaceful atmosphere....
Read moreSo this is a decently priced hotel near a beach. But because there were so few reviews, I was surprised by a few things. It's probably best you know about them beforehand so that you make your decision based on good info.
No elevator. So if you want a room with a view, you need to go to at least the 3rd floor. It's a bit of a hike if you are older or have knee or feet issues. Just FYI.
The tricycles that you need to get around don't come down the hill to the hotel. You need to walk up a very steep road to get to the road and then walk downhill about 500 meters to get where the trikes hang out at a pool hall. Just FYI.
There is a breakfast included, but if you aren't fond of Filipino style food, it may not be to your liking. We tried two things and then skipped the free breakfast the other 2 days. It was not very good.
They don't clean your room if you are there for a few days. We were there for 4 nights and they never came in to change the garbage, or sweep the floor or change the sheets. The place was pretty grungy by the time we were done. I've never experienced that before. That was new to us.
It is not beachfront. There is no beach access at the hotel, you need to walk down to the italian restaurant down the way ( which has amazing food by the way. Real Italian food!) And hang out at the beach there, or get a ride into white beach.
So if I had've known some of those things ahead of time I may have picked somewhere else to stay.
But now you have the information to make an informed decision.
Staff were very good. Very welcoming...
