Where to start ... Palawan Island welcomed me with some events that almost broke me, but then I got to make new friends in form of Luwell and the pack here in the hotel Globetrotters Inn. Genuinely kind, friendly and helpful bunch they are. I intended to stay here for 6 nights ... extended to 3 weeks. Rooms are really spacious. Beds are comfy. There are some hiccups like always but nothing that would make me give the place less then perfect score. Area is peaceful with great access to the main road and from there you may go anywhere. ( and yea, ask about 'THE LOOP' ) Rooftop delivers a nice view and a full kitchen with all the stuff you may want. Guys here will get you to try some local specialties... Only thing else I want to say: Thanks Luwell, you did make my stay in Palawan great against all odds, stay awesome my man!
P.S. Be wary of a place right next to the hotel, there is a lady selling groceries and serving food and will eventually tell you that her husband Mike can arrange a bike for rental. Don't use his services under no circumstances as he will try to scam you. Attaching his business card so you know...
Read moreRoom is clean and fairly modern. We stayed in apartment 3 with 2 bedrooms (single bunk bed and queen bed), a living area, a small kitchen with sink (but no stove), and 1 common bathroom. Room is ideal for a family with 2 children.||Shower head broke on first night but they replaced it the following day. They also let us use the 3rd floor lounge for ktv in the evening. Even my data roaming connection is only intermittent.||Water looks a little yellow from rust so I would suggest using bottled water for brushing teeth. ||Location is a bit hard to find and area seems to have a lot of mosquitoes. Have to take a local motorcycle car to get to shopping malls or local pubs and bars.||Overall still a pleasant stay thanks to the friendly and...
Read moreI know, I know this review piece of the place is late, but as they say, “better late than never,” right? ||Globetrotter Inn Palawan gave me the best stay in March this year with a few of my friends. Can’t forget that lively and lovely night on the roof deck garden. We all just lazed around and appreciated the peace and quiet that the surrounding environment provided.||When it was time to sleep, we all stayed in one very spacious room for eight and enjoyed a good night.||Morning breakfast was also unforgettable for the menu was prepared for all of us by the mom of Helen Ceballo, the owner. It was a special buffet of longganisa, dried fish, and tosino homemade style.||The place caters to guests and visitors who are looking for affordability and memorable stay. ||If you wish to visit Palawan, this place is...
